Just so that I am keeping up with conversation....
I am working upto 38 weeks this time, worked to 37 last time and was bored stiff when DD went 6 days over so just thought sod it I'll work. Am thinking I might go further actually, my job isnt exactly taxing (hence being on here mid afternoon lol)
Re: stretchmarks, I still have them from DD, albeit they are silver now. Do you (collective!) think the same stretchmarks will just go red again or will I get new red ones mixing with the silver ones? Gawd I'll look like a right A-Z if that happens just stick a few train tracks on there and dd will be playing cars.
All ok over here, bored at work. Just found out I have to go to a sodding team development day tomorrow, I dont want to!!!!

Im a cow sometimes too, to the point of saying (because he wont give up smoking) 'oh just kill your daughter and your unborn then, obviously dont mean much to you' thats nasty and slightly morbid I know but I just dont think....
and to be honest I would probably be doing the same as you!! Men.....pff
Oh don't get me started on the smoking. Our house is smoke free so OH has to go outside to smoke. I told him once bubs arrives he won't be able to hold her/him cos of the effects of passive smoking. He has tried to stop (bless him) and hasn't had one since last sunday :T. Obviously though this is all my fault, he is stressed cos he is giving up smoking for me???? Errr.....no you're doing it for your own health and the health of your unborn childs. I'm not too stressed but it is just really painful and getting worse. I'm struggling to move and Paracetemol isn't helping.
Rockin - I would prob finish earlier if I was in your shoes but I don't mind my job and the people are ok. i may have a few 'sick' days towards the end though0 -

As for the tra la la feeling...I'm being totally ditzy although there is nothging new there heheThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
Hugs to everyone who's feeling a bit down today :grouphug:
Those of you feeling like you're a long way behind, are there a few people due the same time as you still hanging around on the 12 week thread, where they feel nice and safe? They will come over eventually! Do moan if you need to, you're not going to make anyone feel down, and we do know what it feels like to be hormonal!
I am going to make it my week's resolution to actually type some replies, instead of just thinking them - I'm terrible for that
I'm so glad not to be at work this time, I hated my job (no, actually, I loved my job, but some of the people I worked with were a real PITA) and remember just wanting time to pass quickly so I could leave. This time, I just want it to pass quickly because I'm impatient!
I'm supposed to be sorting out solicitors, surveyors and mortgage company this afternoon with all the paperwork they need again, so I really must get on with that, then we are going on a mission to find toddler wellies - all our local shops seem to have sold out in Oli's size and he is getting puddle withdrawal!0 -
I think I am probably going to start my maternity at 34 or 35 weeks as it fits in around the school term dates plus I have some holiday remaining that I can attach on to the beginning of it. Am aiming for finishing on either the 4th or 11th February – I can’t stand this place and so am thinking sooner rather than later will suit me just fine.

Yeah I think the 34/35 week mark is looking really good to me lol.....I hope once I go back after my maternity leave that I am actually placed in a job I enjoy and not one that is so tedious and boring I cry about going in to the place....that and the fact I have to look at other girls judging me because I have been ill before the pregnancy and am ill through it....do they really think that pregnancy cures all ills....I certainly wish it did....hmmmm starting to rant...going to go and make something to eat...again!!!!The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
you are a chatty bunch this afternoon lol
My maternity leave officially starts on the 31st oct with one weeks holiday before that so I'll be 33 weeks on my last day at work. Thing is I'll still be busy with the kids and finishing my coursework off, feels like I could do with it starting now, I am struggling with the late nights but also with locking the shutters and carrying all the change to the lift, its quite a walk and sometimes its really heavy. I don't really do much at work anymore just get through the shift. Then there are all the people who don't normally speak to you asking if you are sure your only having one and touching the tummy, I even got a you kept that quiet I didn't even know you were pregnant last night, I mean it is pretty obvious so I didn't shout it out no, she must have thought I'd put on a fair bit of weight though.
MV no stretchmarks here, I only have a few on my boobs and thighs from the other two but no new ones that I can tell and none on my tummy and its a big baby so maybe I just have really stretchy skin.0 -
My husband is home. Today the welcome pack from cow and gate baby club arrived. In it is a little diary thing with weeks marked so OH says how far are WE i reply 22 weeks so at that point it takes you to a list of what to buy for baby so he goes thru it all while i laugh like feeding essentials muslin squares, never used one ever and my two havent starved to death so i won't be racing out to buy some. Anyway he then found a page about birth plan so he went thru it
Birth partner:- stupid daddy
Pain relief:- just gas and air, she is a stubborn woman
Special needs:- blood donor on standby
after the birth:- sweet and sour chicken or a soft boiled egg.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Afternoon Lady Bumps so had more physio this morning and she suggested that I get a Tens machine to help with the pain
Was at the hosital and got a text from my sister to say her hubby had chopped off the top of his finger at work and was also at the hospital having surgery to put it back together  then got home to a call from the school asking me to collect DD as she was unwell  So much for taking it easy!
So I have between now and the 27th to get my plan together to get my consultant to agree to the sun roof to get little madam out and stop my painI will be a woman on a mission.... Any tips?????
If you can think it........it will happen0
