Hi all,
I tried to have a quick read earlier, but it just moves so fast I cant keep up.
Here is my bump photo.

I had a really positive app at the hospital today with the Lead midwife ( I want a VBAC and an active labour), we discussed my concerns after seeing juinor Dr last time, she was able to reassure me, was completely understanding as to why I didnt want to be continously monitored and was able to tell me I dont have to be, I can come off for short periods of time to move around etc, and she sees no reason why there cant be compromise between me and my midwife, she was also very positive in that she said that I would go into spontaneous labour this time, and there were looking back at my notes a fair few signs that my ds was going to have trouble from the beginning, I just hope this baby doesn't have such a big head that it tries to birth the wrong way, think of it as a rugby ball tring to squeeze the length through the pelvis instead of the point and then twisted to try to right its self and getting completely stuck! She made me feel at ease now and that I realise I have to have a positive attitude too, even though I ended up with an emergency c-section last time after being induced, I still get to 10cms in just a few hours and did try pushing that twisted rugby ball out!!!! It was just well and truely stuck!
I have community midwife app tomorrow, had my bloods done today at hospital so dont need to starve in the morning!
Sorry for such a long post, its just so nice to feel so positive for the first time in weeks about the birth! Its nice to share.
Right I have also got obsessed with some silly game so I'm off to play it for a bit before bed. xx0 -

Emsy have sent a friend request, lilac I will go have a quick search for your link too.
Midwife this morning and I forgot to pee in the pot again, not sure I'll need to go again as appointment is at 9 but would like to know if there is sugar in my urine. How are you supposed to remember to do it in a pot at 5:30am.0 -
Congrats to Gems and Billybobberyl.hngrymummy wrote: »Without wanting to rejoice in your dehydration, can I just say 'YAY. Someone else who's struggling to drink'
I can't do milk at all - doesn't even reach my stomach. I can't drink very much to be honest unless it's with some food. Any drink on an empty stomach leads to sickness, so I very much suspect that I'm somewhat dehydrated too.
Best thing about reading this thread, huh? We really aren't alone!:T:Tticklepenny wrote: »OH has suggested soups, Icecream, Sorbet and crushed ice (slush puppy style) as options for rehydration. he has also mentioned rehydration tablets, but not sure if that will help if you are struggling to drink in the first place.BTW re dehydration have you tried upping consumption of cucumber, lettuce and watermelon? Just a thought.
Ice lollies, frozen juice ice cubes, soup and cereal are all that got me through the first four months. The smell of cucumber and watermelon made me throw up until about a week ago. Seriously, if you'd told me before I was pregnant that cucumber had a smell from three rooms away I'd have thought you were mad :rotfl::rotfl:.
Thanks for all the advice re: smears, hydration, M&P's Sola...
And I got almost a full night's sleep last night! Well, five hours- I call that a win:D.
Plus I get to leave work at eleven for MW.0 -

Morning ladies, welcome to the world baby fern
Quick question - I have a pain in my lower right hand side. It's been there for a while but it wasn't too painful before and I put it down to stretching but I've woken up this morning and it is a lot worse, I wonder if i have pulled it more in my sleep?. If I cough, sneeze it hurts, when I'm walking it feels like it's pulling. It is right low down in what I would call my groin but I'm not too sure what is there. I'm guessing it is stretching but I only feel it in exactly the same spot each time. when I'm still I can sense something there but then when I move it hurts....any ideas?0
