No problem - I was wondering who it was but kinda guessed:D Can you tell I've been sitting here doing nothing much all night!

Off to have a bath now though, hubby is just home from work and is starting at 5.30am again:eek:

Cat - I'm loving the FB piccies - you've got such a lovely bump. Hope mine's like that.

Emsy - Have sent you a friends request :)

Ditto on the FB thing - I've got some of you lovely ladies on there, but would welcome some more. PM me!!!
  • Completely off topic......
In case anyone's interested, Time Team special on the Vikings (Ch 4+1). One of my digs should be on there (no footage of me though). We found a pit with about 50 heads on one side of the pit and the bodies on the other side. Gruesome:D

Also for the dehydration, try just having a sip every few minutes rather than a mouthfull... Might be more likely to stay down...

Tickle, do you pay for those treatments or are you getting them on the NHS?

My back/hips are definitely getting worse, I'm seeing the consultant a week on friday and I plan to mentio it to her... But I don't expect much to come of it... I'd go and see the Dr but of the 2 in our practise, 1 is on maternity leave and the other is on long term sick leave... So I'm not sure where I'd stand there... And I know it's absolutely pointless mentioning anything to the midwife because they just smile nicely and then write "no concerns" on your notes...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • OH has suggested soups, Icecream, Sorbet and crushed ice (slush puppy style) as options for rehydration. he has also mentioned rehydration tablets, but not sure if that will help if you are struggling to drink in the first place.

NHS treatments.... am far to tight to pay out for this type of thing especially as I am a sceptic.... but if its free I will give it a whirl. :D

  • Evening all

Congrats Gems - sorry the birth wasn't as straight forward as you wanted

I'm having a bad SPD day, woke at 4am in pain trying to turn over in bed. I think
I've made it a bit worse by trying to tidy living room as have a meeting with my boss here tomorrow so I've had to take some co-codamol. Thought a bath would make me feel better and struggled to get in and I slipped knocking my wrist. I've never heard OH move so fast! So I have a lovely bruise coming on my wrist!!

Just hope I can sleep better tonight and the little fella stops using my bowel as a bongo!!
