    Morning hdeusi.
congrats on the new arrival, glad to see he is making progress.

I think (eventually) we have our names. The plan was to get two for each sex and then see which one bubs suited best when they arrived. But as OH is adamant it is a girl getting him to agree on one boys name has been hard enough. We have had our girls name forever and we both LOVe it. I hope it is a girl just so we can use it before someone else steals it :D.

So we have............duh duh duh..........Joseph James and Matilda Anne. I haven't heard about this colours thing before will look into it. hngrymummy- are these good colours?

Lilac - we also carry the ginger gene, OH was a mini Mick Hucknall when he was young but now has gone really dark, so much so that people think he is asian. No idea how he changed so much. I have always been fair and both my mum and dad are ginger so we reckon bubs will be one too.

Started clearing out the spare room yesterday ready to become a nursery. Got rid of loads of junk and have a nice little pile of stuff fo rhte car boot, once that is gone we will get it painted then can start filling it with baby goodies. Slightly daunted though by how much everything costs. Think I'll be relying on relatives and freebies for most stuff.

Dusty - here my two little ones http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5361495&l=2e4f6b6c4b&id=535159391 We have James Joseph as a boy name, decided on it when pregnant with DD1 and decided not to even consider deviating

    Morning ladies,
Congrats hdeusi, glad he's coming on ok.
Just popping on quickly before work.
Last week i bought a dress off ebay, a black maternity dress in a size 12. I've washed it and this morning finally got round to trying it on, unfortunately being 5'10" its not long on me (it was described as a long dress). Can anyone else on here make use of it?
PM me if anyone's interested and i'll bung it in the post to you, i won't wear it as its the wrong length and would rather someone on here makes use of it.

Not sure if the link will work as its ebay, but the auction number was 160485443409

edit...Just to clarify, i don't want any money for the dress, just want someone to be able to use it

    A couple of questions;

Has anyone discussed the flu vaccine with their MW/GP? Believe pregnant women are more susceptable to flu (esp swine flu) complications but not sure if there are any risks with the vaccines??? Just wondering what the current advice is.

For the experienced ladies out there, is TENS really any good? I'm planning on doing the later stages in water with G&A but thought TENS might be useful for early on at home and the car journey???

I haven't discussed it with medical staff but we did have a conversation about it at pregnancy yoga. General consensus was we didn't want anything in our bodies that hadn't been tested for long - I think it's only been advised for a few years at the most? There haven't been any side effects yet that I know of though.

    Hi Claire

Here is some info from the Department of health

    http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/MediaCentre/Pressreleases/DH_119947

I work for the NHS and it is part of my role to encourage pregnant women and those at high risk to get the jab so i am planning on practising what I preach and getting it done.

I had a letter from my surgery last week saying that Im to go for a flu jab on wednesday, I presume Im allowed to choose lol. ANyhoo spoke to MIL (matron) who says its probably worth having as it also protects against swine flu which can be a killer

So off to the docs on Weds I trot.

In other news, 20 week scan on Friday, seems to be going a quick this time around lol.
