Sarah - hope all goes well today for you.
Well I did the most stupid thing yesterday morning. Boyfriend is now back from Afghan (hence why I've not been on for a couple of days :j) and we decided to go gym together. He told me he did not want to see me on the treadmill, and me not one to be told what to do, did exactly that much to his disgust! He even tried getting the gym bloke to get me off it  So i did 20mins and felt fine, then a little weights, then swim/jacuzzi, and now I have spd and am walking like the babies head has made an appearance through my lady garden  I have been running up til 3wks ago, when I got a bad back plus a head cold so hadn't done anything since, but due to feeling fine I ploughed through the run. So if anyone is tempted to go running at 37wks pregnant, I'd seriously advise not toEven worse that I proved him right
Fingers crossed it eases and goes before birth as its agony. You ladies that have had it from early on have my full sympathy. Silly girl.......

Hi ladies
I will be joining you all very soon hopefully, I have my scan on Tuesday, very nervous but trying to reassure myself it will be just fine.
This is a wee bit embarrassing but I have to ask.....I am very overweight and am now terrified that I will go into for my scan and they say erm no can do your too fat and wont be able to see anything(ok they wont put it quite like that but you get the gist of it
) When I went for scans with DD I never even thought about it but I was a good stone and a half lighter then and got fab pics. Can anyone reassure me one way or another. Thanks.x

Teenie - I had the same worry:o, I don't know how overweight you are, but I weighed 96kg at my booking in appointment, I only weighed 90kg at 40 weeks with DD1
, and at my 12 week scan all was perfectly clear! I had only had about 1 pint of water an hour before too, so I am sure you will be absolutely fine!:D
DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz
DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

GFH that's awful :eek: I weigh more than you, and I was ok, but if I recall correctly, I had an internal.......not at 12 weeks though, I think it was ok by then.0 -

Love sorry I didn't mean to freak you. I was a day before 10 weeks and it just meant I got an EXTRA scan, at 14 weeks. Sure yours will be fine its just the crappy old equipment here in the back of beyond. With DD2 the monitor wasn't even working so I couldn't see the screen during the scan.
They are still trying to drive the evil spirits from it:rotfl:emsywoo123 wrote: »GFH that's awful :eek: I weigh more than you, are you sure?! and I was ok, but if I recall correctly, I had an internal.......not at 12 weeks though, I think it was ok by then.
