In that case I'd get the boiler covered for the year and see how you get on with the boiler, it's worth it just for peace of mind:)Boiler is only 2 years old and we're about to get it fixed because it keeps cutting out with an error when the heating attempts to come on. I'd hope it's not likely that it'd need replacing, but I know £1500 for a new boiler while on Mat leave wouldn't be doable. While I'm working we could afford it though. So I was thinking of just doing it for a year for peace of mind really.1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

I'm back, baby measuring 2 weeks ahead and there is more fluid around the baby than they would like so another scan in 2 weeks to see if there is any change and I've got to have another GTT, great. The interesting bits though, saw babies face and it was really clear and very cute looking, also current weight of baby at 31 weeks 5lb 5oz, not a small one.
AAh that's so sweet you saw baby's face.Krystaltips wrote: »We had name issues last time and only decided on a boys name for definite while I was in labour... Didn't need it in the end... And my sister had a baby last month and pinched it! (Not her fault really, she didn't know lol) but this time around we're pretty definite on a name for either

Yep she had to check babies lips to make sure there were no problems with him swallowing the fluid and it all looked fine, actually his lips looked a bit big to me. DS was facinated by the scan and asked to see its willy, he is such a boy.0 -
Ah but I'd know when you all hit the parent thread at the same time as me and we all have a baby with the same name... There are 2 other Caitlyn's on there... 1 arrived 2 weeks after mine and the other 4 weeks after mine...gratefulforhelp wrote: »

Re life insurance... If you have a company pension it might be worth checking what kind of cover you have there, my husband has 10x salary as a death in service benefit and I do know my little brother has something similar because when he was young free and single he put my DD1 down as a beneficiary (I should check he's changed that really, he's married with a baby now!)
But level term assurance is simple and cheap... Just remember you get nothing out of it at the end... Critical illness cover costs more but covers for a range of things, it also sometimes comes with an amount of cover for if one of your children gets a critical illness too...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

:j:T:T:T:j for Mr Tink! What a lovely pressie

I am trawling through draft contracts for the new house, munching a delicious apple cinnamon and banana muffin that DS and I made earlier (well, he stirred a bit, and then waved a rolling pin about
)
Dinner is sorted, shoes all polished, junk listed on Freecycle, I'm a regular domestic goddess today. I wish I knew how it happened, I'd do it more often!
Ps, Krystal - Caitlin is on our list, but we didn't copy, honest! It's a lovely name though.0 -
Tinks I am soooooo jealous!!!
I am well and truly pee'd off right now
Had to go into work today - though I was feeling much better than yesterday, was supposed to be on 8-4pm, ended up staying until 5.20pm to make sure everything was done - I can see me not getting off on maternity leave on time! Then to top it all came home made some toast and just broke a tooth!!!! 0
