    Hi everyone,

Hope I am ok to join and I hope I am right in doing so. I have been on the under 12 weeks board and am currently 13+4. Had my scan on Monday and was thrilled to see bab sucking its fingers and looking content.

I have had brown discharge all the way through this pregnancy so far. I hadn't experienced it with my previous pregnancy, so got it checked out and nothing seemed amiss. Thursday morning I woke up and wiped quite a lot of red blood, which obviously got me panicking a bit. I called the MAU at my hospital and they advised me to go in to be assessed. I was swabbed and they checked my cervix, which was closed. They also kindly scanned again to ease my mind, They were extremely kind to me. They said that as I wasn't experiencing terrible pain and had no clots, they weren't treating it as a threatened mc. I went home relieved, but paranoid about bleeding again.

I went to work yesterday and every time I went to the loo only wiped orange, so thought that it must have just been a one off. This morning, though, I woke to the same as Thurs: red blood on wiping and in the loo. The blood was interspersed in mucus looking goo (sorry, tmi). I rang the MAU again and they have told me to monitor it today and call if it worsens. I have had more of the same on and off today and am getting strange feelings in my lower tummy and legs.

I am so sorry to rant on in my first post on here, but am wondering if anyone else has bled in their pregnancies? Thank you for reading what has turned into a long post!

Congratulations to everyone by the way for all of the miracles x x x

Hi everyone. Nothing much to report here, glad bubba is moving MV. Think I can feel baby grateful a bit, but it 15 weeks too soon?

I started feeling mine kick last saturday at 16+5 and its more regular now in the evenings, everyone's different so it could well be. :)

Welcome Dipsy, i've not experienced what your going through, but as its still going on i'd call MAU again and perhaps go back in, particularly as you are having the strange feelings in tummy and legs. Sorry thats not much help...but thinking of you (hugs)

    Hi Dipsy,
I had some bleeding early on this pregnancy and was really concerned as I had 3 mmc last year (with no bleeding) but went for extra scans at EPAC and all was well, they are usually very understanding so I would go back again if you are concerned and it continues. I had 2 bouts of bleeding at around the time AF would have been due.
  • Goodness catwoman you are determined. Fair play to you, one mmc nearly did me in!

I was ready to give up (almost) after the last one as it was quite traumatic, however we had put trying on hold when I fel pregnant this time:o And I am loving every minute of it, I think it makes you realise how special this time is, I'm in no rush for this pregnancy to be over, I'm loving every minute of it, even the pains and sleepless nights! And I can't wait to do it again!

Dipsy I hope you are OK and try not to worry.

I had a little bleeding on 4 occasions from 21-25 weeks. It was only a little each time and I didn't have any pain, but the occurances were always a day after I physically over did it. I had scans in the maternity admissions unit and was told if I didn't have any pain, and it was only a little blood it was probably fine. I just decided to really take it easy from then on.

Hi sorry for jumping in :o Nic my due date at the mo is 25th April making me 10 + 5 today so if you are 12 weeks on Monday your due date will be 19th April (either that you are 10 + 4 :o sorry). Of course this will all change when we get our scans!;)[/

I'm confused. The doc said I was roughly 9 weeks when I went to see him on the 13th after my BFP.and that's the date he said going by the date I roughly thought my last AF was. I never used to take note of when AF visited so couldn't be sure.
Maybe I've miscounted the weeks. If I'm 9 weeks on mon the 13ths sep, I thought I'd be coming up for 12 weeks this Mon?
As you said hopefully the scan will give a date or I'm snookered lol.

  • OOh just pulled up the carpet (well DH did) in our spare room and found a really pretty 1920s (original) lino. Wonder if it will fall apart when we move it.

  • Hi Ladies and Bumps,

I try and read most of the posts where possible but don't have time to post much as so busy.

Could someone please put me on the boards as due 15/01/11.

Been cautious about putting anything up as it took us a while to get here and felt very scared it would actually happen.

But it would be nice to have some support and everyone seems so friendly on here.

    Thanks

    :o
