    Good morning all

Peanut is moving around a lot this morning - it's actually making me feel a bit travel sick! Is that normal?! Maybe I should eat something. Hmm.

Lillian - yup sure is for me - I think it's why I still feel so blooming sick! This baby seems way more active than my others were!

Gems - poor you :grouphug: have a dodgy hug - been there and done that with DD2 so I know how you are feeling.

Fuzz - me too, had a rubbish nights sleep and feel very grumpy for it - and DD2 is being a witch!

On the up side though - its a lovely day here so got DH to go into the loft and take out the baby box so we could get the stuff washed and dried outside - and I had a lovely trip down memory lane with DDs' forgot how tiny their stuff was!!
    DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
    DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz

    DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

  • Morning all.

I had 3 parcels from the delivery man this am; baby naming book, gym ball and 4 pairs of mat trousers all from ebay. Im pleased the book and trousers got here before my holiday on monday. Also my swimming cozy came yesterday from next, Its lovely so am pleased with myself.

MIL popped around earlier with the first piece of our nusery collection, we've gone for lollipoplane sidney and lola linky
plus an Antler changing bag from Avon. Its lovely. Linky

Unfortunatly I've been a bit chicken, am now speaking to DH and everythings fine between us but we havn't really discussed what happened so it will happen again :(
May have to bring it up whilst on holiday.

Sorry to hear your still here gem, labour vibes to you.

Went for a wander around town today to see if there's anwhere that does maternity clothes. I found a couple of racks in Dorothy Perkins with nothing in my size. Nothing I could spot in Next, New Look, House of Fraser etc. Does nobody round here get pregnant???

Popped into mothercare for a peek at their jeans and tops. As I don't have much of a bump I thought I'd been ok with my normal clothes. I was wrong :p I tried a pair of jeans on, and they are sooooooo much more comfortable than my normal pair. They stretch when I sit down rather than dig in, and bump (such as it is) feels comfortable and supported rather than allowed to sag all over the place. One happy bump and one happy mummy are now relaxing in a lovely pair of maternity jeans. I will be buying my next pair from ebay I suspect though.

DH is outside sarting to put the roof on the shed, and I *should* be doing housework ;)

Hope you're all having a lovely day. I've not been sick yet, so we're currently happy :)

Thanks GFH, I dong have a date yet, as I have no idea when last AF was :o. I picked a rough date out of the air at my first doctors visit so he said 26 th of April. So I'm going with that until my scan.

Hi sorry for jumping in :o Nic my due date at the mo is 25th April making me 10 + 5 today so if you are 12 weeks on Monday your due date will be 19th April (either that you are 10 + 4 :o sorry). Of course this will all change when we get our scans!;)

    Afternoon ladies,

I seemed to have shrugged off the low mood I've been in all week and hips feel alot better today after they clicked really loudly last night! Very odd. Still having pain in my pubic bone but its just about bearable and I've even managed to a bit of housework this morning but I'm now aching a bit and really don't want to push my luck!

Big labour vibes for Gems xx

Hungrymummy - I find looking for maternity clothes a nightmare too and have to go either to Coventry or Birmingham as there is very little in my home town (only New Look and limited range in Debenhams & Dorothy Perkins). Its rubbish.

Baby has been wriggling like crazy today which has made up for a few quiet days he has had.

Have a good afternoon all, I'm off to have a nap in front of the golf!! x

  • Well we have ordered our buggy, car seat, all the fixings, cotbed and mattress :D

Managed to save a grand total of £254 on the lot too due to various discounts/vouchers etc at Mothercare :T

It's all due for delivery next Friday so I am going to have to see if I can take the day off.

OH's parents are here this weekend. They are lovely, but I am so tired I could really do with a slob out weekend. Got my folks over this evening too as it is my mum's birthday so we are all going for a meal.
