Hi all,
I'm 20+weeks. Last night and this morning had some light brown bleeding. Dont know if this is anything I should contact my midwife about on a Sunday or if its ok to wait til tomorrow or even wed when I have my scan? I'm not overly worried about it-although baby has been a little quieter than normal today, but I can stil feel it moving.
They probably wouldn't scan me today anyway? SO what's the point in calling-right?
Thanks x0 -
lwcus, I had some brown bleeding at 14 weeks, I didn't bother ringing anyone because it was a bank holiday weekend and I figured they wouldn't do anything about it anyway... I mentioned it to my midwife when I had my 16 week appointment and she confirmed that it wasn't worth worrying about too... Brown blood is old blood so not really indicative of a problem...
Dream, I sweat just getting out of a chair at the minute, it's driving me up the wall!! I walked to church this morning and couldn't stop wiping my face for about 20mins... Very embarrassing!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

On the flip side I had some light brown bleeding at 14 weeks whilst I was on holiday. After worrying all day I ended up being checked over in A&E (sent there by walk in centre) where they found a low lying haematoma and I had to rest for 2 weeks. Chances are its nothing but its always better to get it checked out or at least phone the midwife for her professional opinion, as you say they might not think its too much to worry about and will check on things at your scan Wednesday.
Constant loo trips today, baby seems to think its fun to keep kicking my bladder. 2 days of rest have done the world of good for my back/pelvis as it doesn't feel too bad at all today and I'm sleeping better which is a bonus.Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -

Well, having spent the past 14 weeks looking and feeling pale, grey and unwell (when I'm not befriending the nearest bucket/loo) I was rather pleased
I reckon I'll just about be getting into the 'glowing' phase just when it's time for it to finish and for me to feel hot and uncomfortable.
Managed to buy something for sproglet today :j Maybe I'm starting to get over the panic a little bit.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
I just wanted to say Hngrymummy - congratulations and well done on glowing - if anyone deserves to glow its you! You have had such a rough time of it :T:T (think you may have my glow too though - because I sure aint glowing this time around - but did the last time) You are welcome to it though
I was at a huge car boot sale this morning - organised by our local radio station and it poured with rain, managed to get 7 like new 3-6 month vests for £1 and some of those little pots for weaning got hinged lid on them and they sit in a tray for the freezer (would never have bought them in the shop - they were marked £10:eek:) for £2 and also the top and tail bowl to match my nappy box (which is 5 years old) for 50p and it still had the price ticket on - was very happy :T:T Of course had I known what colour to buy then I could have got HEAPS of clothes - probably best I don't know yet :rotfl:. Total best buy though was a tin containing CD's of Roald Dahl stories for DD1, which was in mint condition and I got for £3 - it's away for christmas, she has had a loan of a younger friends and loved it but it is unavailable in the shops and about £35 on ebay, got that within the first minute of arriving so was delighted to say the least! Tired out now though - and had a lovely soak in the bath when I got homeDD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz

it's quiet on here today!
Had a lazy morning including a long bath with my book, then lunch at the in laws. Since then I've finished the church magazine, guy coming to collect it any minute. Also tried the infant carrier seat in our car and in laws car, doesn't feel super sturdy when pushed back towards the seat - is that normal? But feels fine when you pull the seatbelt forward fast like you would in a crash and doesn't move then.
I have a very long day to myself tomorrow, DH is working and then is out at the opera in the evening, so won't be home til after 11pm. I don't have any plans but hopefully can amuse myself and rest lots. I was going to go to the ante natal session (thought it was bfing one) but it's birth info, not sure I want to go on my own as everyone will have partners there and may as well wait and see what consultant says.
Feel like I am getting some twinges, but they are all v low down (like period pains in the front of my foof), hoping it's just baby settling down there? Also though (sorry TMI alert), have a sore bit down there, think a blocked hair duct, have had them a bit in pregnancy, but is a bit swollen and soreMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
