Hi Ladies,

Hope we're all well! I was sick this morning - not good, not sure what it was has been a long time since i've had morning sickness!

Anyway just jumped on to ask a quick question / opinion... although i always post at crazy o'clock at night and get lost in the posts ...... i have my 36 week appt with the midwife on thursday and at an earlier appt i asked her about getting tested for gbs as my sis in law had it and a friend from school, i'd never really heard of it before this, anyway she said that as i hadn't previously had it then it was unlikely i would have it... she gave me a leaflet and said if i wanted i could be tested at 36 weeks... so i haven't made a decision yet, are many ladies being tested for it? i would rather not have a swab done if i don't have to really but then i worry about the risk?!?! What have all you other ladies decided?

ps my car seat has been dispatched and is arriving tomorrow yayyyy!

what's gbs? ah, worked it out group B strep...no idea I'm afraid. my friends little one did get it. My book says the test is routinely offered but pretty sure that's not right!

Tink, one of the girls from here paid to have the swab test herself at the same time I was pregnant with DD2... It was Sami_Bee if you wanted to talk to her about it...

My step sister had it with her first, but he was fine once they discovered it

Morning ladies

I have my 20 week scan this morning! Hoping everything's ok, I haven't felt peanut move as much these past couple of days but hopefully the position has just shifted and that's why. Hoping to find out the sex as well - will post this afternoon with any news! x

I somehow managed to sleep from 12-8 with no loo trip!!! Can't believe it! Looks like DH is taking the day off sick as there's no sign of him. A bit irritating as my friend is coming and had planned to stay in with her, guess we might go out for a coffee instead then come back here for lunch. I feel bad saying it as DH isn't well, but doubtless he'll be playing on the ps3 this afternoon so I won't quite get my relaxing aft to myself once she's gone! Oh well.

And someone asked me on fb last night if the baby has come yet....it has started!!!
