Thanks This baby seems to be growing upwards instead of out, as it feels like there are limbs permanently wedged in my ribs at the moment! Injections are anti-coagulants as I had a blood clot a couple of years ago so am at a higher risk of developing one in pregnancy.

Anyone been to a NCT sale? Any tips? Should I get there early and pay the entry fee, or go at the end when its free entry? Is it fixed prices or can you haggle?

There's one coming up near me in a couple of weeks, so got till then to convince OH that its ok for baby to have second hand. I've had to hide the bits I've got off freecycle he went crazy when he saw the pram.

Quite frankly I think beggars can't be choosers, I have no work at the mo and he's about to be made redundant.

I had the same problem with DD1, they scanned me every 2 weeks and told me she was ginormous... I was bricking it when they told me they would let me go to term rather than inducing me early... As it happened, she was 8lb 15oz which, although big, was nothing like the humungous man-child I was expecting...

I drank milk by the litre through the last 2 pregnancies, but I'm trying to avoid it a little this time... I was told it can stop the body absorbing iron and I did end up low both times...

Although the heartburn is a killer this time though!!

And I have a babystyle oyster if you have any questions... I'm debating selling it at the minute to raise money for a double...

Never been to an NCT sale but a friend of mine raves about them!

As for the OH...mines the same:mad: I just told him that the various bits & bobs I've got from freecycle etc were from 'people' from work...funnily enough he wasn't too fussed about that *confused smiley* go figure huh?!

Oh Ladies, i'd never heard of an nct sale til i came on here, just googled it and they have one in the town i grew up this saturday. Is it worth me going? Think dh may be in France working away, so could tie it in with a visit to my mums.

lol fuzz i thought it was only me who said that! I did let him put his foot down over getting a new pushchair though, he was keen to as it then havsa guarantee etc and my mum was paying anyway!

I am pooped, should've had a rest earlier I think. DH is feeling ill apparently, I'm sure it's all the carp he's eating but would suit me not to have a proper meal tonight so I'll see how he feels when he gets in. Might manage a snooze before then I guess as he'll be an hour.
