Hello, I have GBS - it was picked up in my 2nd pg as they swabbed me when my waters broke. I didn't get the results until dd was about 9 or 10 days old so neither of us received any treatment.
In this pg they swabbed my at 34 weeks (wasn't bad at all - a low vaginal swab done in a min, mw asked if I wanted to do it myself but I declined!). Came back positive so I will be given IV antibiotics in labour.

I am top of the list :eek: (excluding bold ladies) - how did that happen? I remember being bottom. It has flown by, unfortunately this last week is dragging. Come on baby!

Oh I had my first ante-natal class last night, not sure I'll return!! It was all about breastfeeding, which I was interested to learn/hear about, but the woman had a knitted boob in one hand and on the other hand was a sesame street hand puppet to show how to latch on. I appeared to be the only one from the class that was trying to stifle the giggles!!

i cant remember but who was it said they really liked the RLT? i think its ok but really struggling to drink the 4 cups. i only managed 3 yesterday the thought of any more was not appealing! might try it when its cooled to see if that helps at least that way i can maybe gulp it down faster and get it over and done with

lovely bump pics ladies will do one later i think mine has got massive this week.

i remember thinking i had had braxton hicks a few wks ago when i was 34-ish weeks. definately didnt because i had 2 last night OMG was not expecting it to feel like that. my whole stomach was rock hard and sqeezing so so tight. thankfully only happened twice but enough to wake me right out of my sleep :eek:

Oh I've been looking back really hoping to see news of Courgette but can't find any! Does anyone know anything? If anyone does please take pity on a hormonal new mum, I hate to be posting this before her but I'm sure she's having her mummy cuddles by now.

Anyway my news - baby boy Joseph William was born on Sunday 12th September at 11.19 pm. Weight 8lb 5oz. He's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. :j:D

plymouthscubagirl, I had a breastfeeding class last night. We got the knitted boob too - but the lady had a boglin to demonstrate latching on! The whole class was laughing at that one :rotfl:
