  • Good luck for the scan lilian.

Massive congrats gena. I love the name Joseph too!

Can anyone tell me if stitch-like pains after walking are fairly normal? I have to walk up a fairly steep hill to work each day, and I was really struggling this morning.

  • MV i get those pains all the time now, even when im walking down hill. i think an uphill walk would murder me!!
  • Thanks dream :)

I am finding my commute is getting hard now. I have a 10 minute walk to the train station from my house and then a 10-15 min walk up hill (past Windsor Castle!) at the end on my way to the office.

I was rushing this morning too, so walked fast to the station and I really felt it in my lower abdomen by the time I got to the office.

God knows how I'm going to manage as time goes on!

Best wishes for your scan Lilian...

    Congrats Gena, lovely name :D

Have heard of the knitted boobs being used at classes but never tried knitting one myself yet - but a sesame street puppet trying to latch on! that would have ended me and I would have been giggling away. Surely she could have gotten a baby doll from somewhere lol.... :p

MV I think I get pains like that too but normally when I'm walking too fast and they go or ease when I slow down, its a reminder to take things easier. Its so hard though yesterday I couldn't for love of me get OH to walk at a slow enough pace for me. I'm sure it was only this bad with lucy much closer to the end, maybe I've just forgotten what its like.

Congrats Gena. I really like the name Joseph too.

Can anyone tell me what exactly you are supposed to do with EPO and when you are supposed to do it?

Ooh are you local-ish to me? I used to live in Slough, now near Aldershot.

I got quite bad pains yesterday after walking into town and back with my colleague. I keep telling him I need to slow down.

  • Hi everyone, thanks fuzz for updating for me. Congrats Gena. I have my driving lesson in just over ten minutes, hopefully i can concentrate better today. We went to a NCT sale a few months ago and we got there about half an hour after it started and all the good bits had gone, did managed to get a few toys. We went to a nearly new baby sale on sunday and that was better, we got a mama and papa baby bath support thing that you put in the big bath for 2.00, a coat for 50p, some tigger booties for 50p, a all in one christmas suit with hat for a pound, another all in one for a pound and some tigger dungaress for two pounds and a tigger book for ten pence. That sale was two pounds each to get in. They still had lots of stuff when we left an hour later.

    Im 37 weeks today.

Giz I work in Windsor, but live in South East London, so you can imagine my commute is pretty horrendous!
