Congrats to bunny! lovely name too!

Courgette - hope things happen soon for you. Big hugs to you x

Love the pics Smartie - she is such a cutie.:)

I'll try to get a pic of Oliver up, but not sure how to do it - no good with these things. Anyone give me any tips?

Feeling awful today! Only day I've not had MW out either. Been getting pains on my right side under tummy and down below, agony when I stand up. Will mention it to MW tomorrow when she comes out to check my b.p, but she said if I get any pains down there could indicate an infection. Hopefully won't be anything worse. :(

    Gorgeous pics Smartie!!

Courgette - sorry its all going so slowly! Sending you speedy-up labour vibes.

Hngry - good that you've not been sick for a few days! And thanks for the calorie-free chocolate I had earlier!:D:D

Lawlorlane - I think you're right that each area is different but it does sound strange that they seem to be saying they won't do a sweep at all (if I've read it right). Here they do them at 40+7 and 40+9 then induce at 40+12. Maybe its just her consultant not wanting to do it? Is there anyone else she could ask? I.e. does she have a contact number for a midwife or maybe try the labour ward? Sorry don't really know myself if that would work. I've been told by my mw to keep active - bouncing on ball is good as is walks. But I think there's a fine line and we shouldn't be wearing ourselves out so we've nothing left for labour. The only other thing I could think is could you take her daughter out for a few hours to give her a chance to rest? Hope all goes well, sending her labour vibes. xx

horse - re photos, you can either put a link to facebook (the link is at the bottom of the page, not the top, it's a public link for those who can't see your profile), or use a site like photbucket or flickr

Hope you start to feel better and it's not an infection, just everything getting back into place.

I felt terrible after my sleep earlier, really hot and dizzy. think it was blood sugar as I'd not eaten for about 6 hours then had some chocolate! Had a jacket pot for dinner and seems ok now. in a lot of pain tonight, but ready for bed soon which should help i guess.

    morning

bunny, emily is gorgeous bless her x

Going to car boot this morning, will see if we get anything but not really looking for much.

GTT is on thursday, seems really close now, I'm pretty sure it'll be positive but finger crossed anyway just incase.

Took the kids swimming yesterday and actually managed to get a few lengths in racing DD, had to give her a head start though. Felt really good after but then slept for a good couple of hours. I wanna go on my own on thursday mornings once DS is at school but I have to pick him up at 12 so sleeping after isn't really an option, I don't really want to go in the evening as it costs more and is busier but I need the exercise.
  • Aww bunny she is beautiful congratulations and she was born on the same day as bubs :-) x

Beautiful picture of Emily Bunny, just read through your birth story - seems mum knew best about the C-Section! I bet it's wonderful to have her home with you and I'm glad she's settled now.

I've just designed my nursery - baby furniture is really small! Still, lots of room for a toy box and a big play mat now! Any opinions? I've put the cotbed there because both the walls are inside walls, and the length side is against the wall where our heads are in bed on the other side. I'd love to have some feedback from mums who've been through it!

Looks good to me Lilian, but isn't the cotbed more like 140cm long? Also, what about getting a chair or small sofa for in there as there's so much room? I ahve put a small sofa we had in there and think I will probably use it for feeding, but also just looks nice! My sofa is under the window...will do a pic at some point when I've folded all the washing!
