Kataraterina, I remember the feeling! I was the exactly the same when I was pregnant with DS, but it will all work out
You'll be organised in plenty of time, I promise. I get really vivid and bizarre dreams too, no idea why, but it's just one of those weird and wonderful side effects of pregnancy I think.

I want my scan now - mine is next Tuesday when I'll be 20+4 - apparently, although that's medically impossible so am expected to have my DD put back again (if that's something they do at the 20 week scan?) How long did it take? OH wants to know what time he might be back at work.
About 20-30 minutes, including a bit of making me jump up and down to make baby turn over. It took her ages to get a look at her face, so I think it would have been quicker if baby wasn't being shy.0 -
could someone update the list and colour my baby blue?

I'm forever overdue and STILL don't feel organised so fear not, Kateraterina! Couple of outfits, pack of nappies and somewhere for babe to sleep is all you need, anything else is a bonus
Well, I found my midwife and I have had sweep number 4 and there is a chance, just a chance ladies, that this one will actually work! :j:j:j Yes, it appears that at a mere 19 days after I was first told to expect babe and 12 days after my revised date there is movement in Camp Courgette and I am at long last favourable:D:D
Of course, being favourable isn't the same as actually being in labour, but it's a start! :rotfl:Updating soon...0 -
Kataratarina - as chakani says it really does suddenly all fit into place. When I was pregnant with DD I wanted someone to just give me an instruction manual. But each baby is different so you can read all the books and listen to all the advice but at the end of the day it is more a case of trial and error to find out what works best for you and baby. The best thing I found was to write lists, so if you want to get the nursery together make a list of what needs doing and just aim to tick off 1 thing a week.
My mum didnt have anything when I was born (despite being 12 days overdue!), I slept in a drawer for 6 weeks lol Babies dont mind that everything isnt ready/perfect as long as they are warm, have a full tum, clean bum and somewhere to sleep they are happy.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

I wanted to be a vet but my a-levels weren't good enough
I'm considering a career change after mat leave (currently a programmer). Am thinking of training to be a vet nurse but I see the pay is incredibly low while training (websites suggest £3k to 7k). While we could survive on a qualified vet nurses pay, I'm not sure we could survive on a student vet nurses pay for 2 years. Could you kindly ask your hubby if this is true?
I'm determined to work with animals in some way as it's what I've wanted to do since I was 5 and I'm fed up of doing things for other people and want a job I enjoy and don't dread going to work everyday.
I will ask him! When i see him!! He started at 8.30 this am and is now on duty 24 / 7 until monday 13th september at 8.30 am!!!:eek:
His pratice is a vet nurse traiing centre.
Lets just hope that bump stays in place!!!:eek:If you can think it........it will happen0 -
