The other line that my store threw at me was that this item was a 'clearance' item and so they couldn't do a refund. Now, I have a memory like a sieve but I have no recollection of this being a clearance item ?? Besides, I have just had it CONFIRMED that stores CAN refund on clearance items so it doesn't make any difference whether it is or not !!!
Email just sent to Chief Exec requesting THEM to call ME !!!
I need a cuppa.....0 -

Thank you very much for your email.
This is a courtesy response to let you know that we have received it and will be reviewing it shortly. Depending on the nature of the enquiry, it may take us a while to investigate fully. Therefore, if we don't get back to you immediately, please be assured we are still working on it.
Kind regards

I too ordered one of these phones and it has never arrived. Now I am worried that if it does come it will be too late to end back. What should I do?0

Apparently, after 7 days, it is now too late to return the item to your local store and too late for the Customer Care Team to organise a refund. What I've now been told to do is complain to the Gods up in the sky at Carphone Warehouse via letter as they apparently can't hold telephone conversations with disgruntled customers like me !
I feel this is gonna drag on and on.....0 -
I'm really not in the mood for that f'ckin red wriggling thing today !!!!!!!!!!0

The seven days for DSR purposes starts the day after you received the item, so yesterday at 10:00pm should have been fine.
Section 11(2) of the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000:
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000:
(2) Where the supplier complies with regulation 8, the cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of seven working days beginning with the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods.0 -
Why don't THEY advise you of that ! I could have returned it yesterday then after AGAIN having confirmation that I could by HO !!! !!!!!! !! So, do you think I could get away with saying that I actually signed for the item a week agao today ? HO can then inform my store that I'm on my way down for a refund !!0
