i hate things like this, customer service in this country sucks big time with some companies, yet others, are fine0

If anyone owns shares in Carphone Warehouse you are entitled to attend the AGM where you can put questions to the board. It would be magical to see that little f**ker Dunstone squirming in front of the finanical press and his fellow board members when quizzed over how good their customer servic is.
I havent been involved in this mobile debate but am still struggling with them on my landline and "free" broadband. Thats "free" as in if we ever deliver it to you, but in the meantime you can keep calling the 0870 number where when you finally get through the options you will get told "all our operators are busy at the moment - please call back later".
I really used to rate CPW highly as a company but I am afriad that since they went became a listed company they really dont seem to give a toss about their customers.0 -
i got an email telling me to go to my local store for a full refund. after 30 mins in there and being toild by the manager that there is no way hes giving me a refund i had to leave. also, apparantly 7 working days includes saturdays and sundays as they are open, as if0

I'm sorry you're going through the same grief coolio. You best bet, through my experience, is to email the Chief Executive, Charles Dunstone, cdunstone@cpw.co.uk as mentioned previously in this thread ( thx ) . You'll get an automated response but you'll also get a call back from them in time. Yes, THEY will call YOU ! Something that a major company with all those phones to hand seem incapable of doing !!!!0 -
I emailed him and all i get is 'you didnt return within 7 days' and i tried to. they saiod a gesture of goodwill we will refund you, send it in at your own costa nd well send you a cheque in a month. I said a gesture of goodwill would be 50quid comp

Tell him that the Distance Selling Regulations do not require you to return it within seven days, they only require you to advise them that you are cancelling the contract within seven days. (Tell him you did this via email if you like). You then have 21 days in which to return the item if they request it be returned.0

So, you've emailed HO using that email address ? They've been no help ? Mail them again, demand that they call YOU, then INSIST ( while you're on hold ) that they phone your local store to authorise the refund. I found that was the only way that I could get things sorted !0 -
Has anybody received a refund from these b*****rds yet. I have rang and rang, maybe I am getting fobbed off. I have given my credit card number for refund 3 times, been told chq is in post, which nvr arrives. Just wondering if its just me waiting for my money back. My order was cancelled before they despatched.0
