The offer is still there on the website i checked my email and it says :

(In Stock)Order: 1 x Motorola V220on Vodafone Pay As You Go
£ 37.95
Order Total: £ 37.95

in their guarantees it says:
At the Carphone Warehouse, we believe in being totally honest with our customers. That means that when you see an item with the "In stock" badge against it, we guarantee that this item is in stock. Our systems update our website in real time, so you can be sure that if an item is out of stock - we will say so

I also printed out each page that i went through in the transaction process...1st page ..the offer
second page what i was buying

I honestly bought these because i was going to purchase 2 phones one for my stepdaughter her birthday in 5 days and the other for my son, could have bought the v220 cheaper in tesco, didnt because needed to get 2 phones so was just going to get a couple of £20 pay as you go's...now if they dont honour this i cant get either till they refund the money 2 weeks i think someone said earlier.
Dont think im going to let it lie if they dont deliver the goods :mad:

I think i will kick up a fuss if i dont get it. I need a phone for my kids and i ordered 2 more poppy phones after this in case this didnt work out so they may be getting the whole lot back if they dont honour the L7.

I've just mailed them a screen grab of the offer in response to the 'incorrect' email confirmation. Will give it a go... you win some you lose some !

If anyone's interested you do not have to telephone to cancel a contract under the distance selling regulations. In fact the DSR refer only to delivery by hand, post, fax, or email as acceptable ways of cancelling the contract. Section 10(4) of the DSR 200.

Ordered mine yesterday, and have just cancelled without any problems. Was told it will not be honoured. Payment already come out of a/c, so she just took my card number back to refund, which will take 3/4 days.
