OMG Pigpen I was just being nosey at your profile and you have 9 children.* Insert bowing smilie*,
I couldn't work out why you were buying so many shoes:rotfl:
You seem so together and not at all frazzled.
I struggle not to lose it with just 2!!
    :T Go PIGPEN :T

LOL.. I've only bought shoes for 6 of them! The baby is only 13 days old so doesn't need any and my oldest lives away from home so can buy his own and my oldest daughter will have to wait while next week. Jacob is my grandboy and as DS1 is a pauper I have been buying his shoes too.. better than getting him sweets and junk he really doesn't need.. I love buying useful presents.

    I do have frazzled days!!

Fish Pie made in 2 dishes. Kids pie to come out of oven in 10mins.

2 more HHI done (the end is still nowhere near insight)

I found £1.23 down the arm of the small sofa in the kitchen!

Today seems to be the day for buying school shoes. I did 3 of them about 10 days ago. I still need to do DS1. DD1 will have to be taken shopping to buy work clothes and shoes. I'm offering to buy for her but she can't fit in the time to go shopping because of results and the boyfriend and her 3 month anniversary. She's offered Friday but as that is the day before we go away it's not going to happen.

DH isn't answering my calls - how am I supposed to know when he is coming home if he won't speak to me?!!

You're welcome, my mum tried everything for her shoulder, docs, chiropractor, massage etc and nothing worked. The magnets made a huge improvement, 1st day she said she felt worse, but the 2nd day she said was amazing. She went from not able raise her arm at all - couldnt eat with that arm, wash her hair etc to a full range of motion in about a week. They may not be so miraculous for everyone but they are definitely worth a shot. I am considering phoning the company and asking for a job as a rep as i recommend them to everyone:rotfl:I use them regularly. Got some on as i type;)

    DIVA:T:T:T:T Lovely to see you:A

    Congratulations to your DD mumto5:beer:

Done a little flying today but not much, been feeling decidedly dodgy for the past few days. Have got all DDs stuff for school on thursday though. I hate shopping for school shoes!

Can I ask, what is the £2 saving club? Sorry if that sounds dopey! I'm trying to find some 'easy' ways to save the pennies, as literally saving the pennies takes ages!!!!

Hellyboo, I can beat your 7p too - found £2.50 in the pocket of OH shorts! I figured it was a tip for the maid.........! Good job though as my WM broke a couple of weeks ago and it turned out a two pound coin had got stuck in it!

    Hello

Not a hope in hell of catching up. My life is full to overflowing with a gazillion things that need to be done this week and there is a severe lack of number

Hugs, hurrahs and hey ho's as appropriate.

The house is a tip. Paperwork everywhere. And on top of everything, one of the local radio stations want me to do an interview about that planning thing. I almost told them to take a running.... but having discovered it'll be recorded rather than live, I've decided I can squeeze them in - on my terms and at my times!

I could really do with some "you do have the strength to get through this week" vibes if they are at all possible and don't detract from the vibes being sent to those far more needy than me...

Belated thanks to Pigpen, Toots etc,

I am definitely in again, but have had DGD2 staying so have been taking her around to sample the delights of the area.

Also, have shingles (but not badly - just enough to make me 'one degree under' most of the time) - which is a good excuse if I feel like being a bit idle!

Did a quick runaround yesterday morning before DGD's train arrived - enough for her to have a good first impression of her granny's tidy house! (She hasn't been here for over a year as she's been in the USA.)

Took the car in for service and MOT this morning, back home (on 2 buses) just in time to join DGD for a coffee (with her breakfast!) Then walked in to town, and spent a lot of the day out doing museums and galleries, lunch, coffees etc. Saw DGD off on her train, then went to have my feet done! Then I collected the car (it passed) and went on to visit DH in his nursing home. They were having a little birthday party for one of the other residents, and DH seemed quite happy.

So, not much Flying done today. And my diary's quite full for the rest of the week, so will just do what I can - but the occasional check on here will hopefully keep me on the straight and narrow.

Good about the DLA Pigpen. We had similar luck with Attendance Allowance - got it immediately, and at the higher rate, which I wasn't applying for or expecting. The man who visited obviously had enough experience to know things were going to get worse - once they did, we needed every penny of it, until I had to admit I wasn't coping any more and DH was taken in to hospital.

Hugs to all in need of them.
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!
