To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.

Oh, I love a list! The downside to my new regime is that I got some Domestos on one of OH's fave fatface tops, and I only got it as it was cheap, I normally avoid bleach - and now I know why!! Was thinking about offering to repay the debt 'in kind', but honestly, far too knackered for all that so am either going to shove it in the back of the wardrobe and hope he doesn't miss it or....actually that's it cos I haven't told him yet!!!!

Cleaning - no good for the clothes, or the budget!!

The funny thing is that all though the house quite often looks like a bomb's hit, I am completey anal about the insides of cupboards, the fridge, airing cupboard - I have to fold my towels (including tea towels!) a particular way....Still, just the last two days has made a big difference, long may it continue!
  • Hello Diva - nice to see you back - it's been too long!

I feel a new woman - and no longer a shaggy dog. Chat & good coffee too - amazing how a hairdresser visit can perk you up!

    OK list is still shrinking...

    Ironing mountain
supermarket shop, with list of those odd things we need, after looking in kitchen cupboards first (spices, herbs, oil, those sort of bits)
start spot treating carpets downstairs - waiting on a good weather day before I steam wash them
    Meeting prep

Right, time to flutter on, HHC at 3.45 anyone?

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

Hello and welcome from another newbie, dizzy. I'm sorry you're having such a tough time but I'm sure your Drs are looking after you - it's amazing what the can do, isn't it?

Thanks for the warm welcome, toottifrootti.

Got to run now as cleaner will be here in a few minutes while I go and do the weekly supermarket shop :)

    Hi
Yeah Ive got a really good team of neuros&physios at pinderfields- they dont half put me through it with my rehab tho.....just got back now and im worn out :o and its such an awful long drive clutching a sick bucket for the vertigo lol.

Im hanging my head in shame today ladies,
I put a dark wash on before we left...It will be hung on the airer to dry and the dishwasher will be emptied and the worktops wiped down- but I'm never too great after physio, so my chores will probably wait now until tomorrow :(
