    Hi all

At home today working, can only manage minimal flying but do need to fold up what's on the airer and put the wet stuff from the wm on there. I also broke a glass earlier so need to wield the dyson and make sure I've got it all.

Trying to write a handover document, not v inspired and as no one seems to care about whether my work is covered or not don't know why I should be. Am at physio tomorrow and wondering whether to ask about being signed off for a bit. Completely in 2 minds as I can manage (just, with a lot of pain) and it's only 2.5 weeks, but on the otherhand it's 2.5 weeks!

Hello everyone, I hope you don't mind another newbie joining in! This is a FANTASTIC thread! I was, in a previous life, a super organised, tidy teacher who has morphed into a not as organised or tidy SAHM of three kids who definately have their father's untidy gene!! I have looked at flylady but the stories I've read of having millions of emails has put me off a bit. I have lots of her stuff printed off and have been thinking about devising a weekly routine but now I don't have to!! So, thanks!

We don't live in a pigsty, but you know what it's like with kids - they constantly undo all the good work as you go along. I have spent most of the holidays 'purging' - 3 bin bags got collected by charity this morning. I've been doing lots of jobs that I've been meaning to get round to like going through all the photos, dejunking drawers, airing cupboard and so on. I am intending to have a grip on things come September so that the house is always presentable and I'm not embarrased to have people round. What complicates things is that we are decorating and extending at the moment so the dust gets everywhere and I have my tumble dryer by the front door - nice!

Anyway, I have found this thread and am inspired to try and keep up! Did everything yesterday and today but as it's my birthday tomorrow, and we're meant to be going out if it's nice, I am planning on tomorrow being a DAY OFF!!

That is absolutely wonderful news - huge congratulations to her

Back from town, feeling virtuous as I cycled and didn't spend any money.

Just having a wee break and then I'll crack on with hoovering followed by a rest doing paperwork.

Hoping wash 1 is dry so wash 2 can go out.

Brilliant news Mumto5, you must be so proud of her! The job sounds fab too.

Have decluttered some weeds in the pathways with the help of DS, emptied a handbag and DH is setting to on making the conservatory presentable again. Having a quick rest and will go and help some more in a minute. DS has also decluttered som pictures out of the Front Room so that looks a bit better too.

Got distracted reading the thread, and completely forgot to say that

Living room, and hall - Done!!:D:D

I've put the washing out once, and had to retrieve it in the rain, but it's brightening up, so I may risk it again.
