Imperial Finance (I think) are brill, very friendly and don't charge interest and offered a 40% settlement right off the bat.
MBNA took some time but are now fine now they know I genuinely have problems. Though they keep promising to phone me back but never do.
I don't really have any problems with any of the others...[strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0 -
Haven't really had a problem *yet* with Moorcroft, although never delt with the Stockport office, I have a man come round
Wecott, again not too bad...mostly cos the only time I spoke to them was here, I'll pay off the account in full, you send me letter confirming
Thames Credit were actually ok! They took over a debt (that I'd 'lost' as I didn't know who had bought it by then); sent me a letter saying they owned it, I called and said 'I know it's not much, but things are tight ATM' and they accepted without batting an eye
Buchannon Clark and Wells/ Fredrickson International however    o2 screwed me over (£75 credit limit apparenlty...whacked with a bill for ONE MONTH's GPRS charges - £900!) With those two mucking about the debt is now £1800! They came up with magic repayment solutions...2 payments, 3 payments...nothing remotely liek what I could afford...told me numerous times to take out a loan....My ultimate fave was when the told me how much I could afford to pay on the basis of three questions..apparently if you are single, live with parents and full time employed, you can afford to pay £200 pm
Ho hum....I'll stop ranting now:cool: Proud DFW Nerd 135 :cool:Sealed Pot Challenge - 0190 -

Have you seen the 'he's lying' from that idiot up top... hmm, just shows you. Thats the troll by the way. Please add it to your ignore list.
I thought I recognised the name, checked it's posts and realised it is one that has been horrible in the past. Put on ignore list now. Didn't know that it actually hid what they said :silenced: . Going off on a slight tangent...
GE Capital - what a horrible bunch they are! I owed a tiny amount on a storecard where I was paying it off at about £5.00 per month. I missed one payment for some reason and they phoned me no less than 8 times a day for several days. I answered them the first time, acknowledged that I hadn't paid and informed them I would pay in 3 days' time. They kept phoning every 30 minutes for a few hours. All for a fiver. They must have spent more than that in phone calls.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. Atol numbers can be checked with the Civil Aviation Authority. Can agree with that....they gave me my first CCJ
They can be rather petty....and least the judge/staff told them where to go with their payment suggestion:cool: Proud DFW Nerd 135 :cool:Sealed Pot Challenge - 0190
