11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?
There are a few which have come to our collective attention as sites that, when used for comps, seem to generate lots of unwanted postal, email & phone call attention. These are listed below for your information, however, please do remember that this is only the collective opinion of other MSE Compers & does not necessarily reflect upon the sites themselves.

If they congregate together for any length of time, they will inevitably hatch plots against you and your pets.

When you look at the terms and conditions of a competition, usually there is a 'no purchase necessary' route (where a purchase is usually necessary to enter). This is something that I have always seen and I was wondering, is this something that is put onto the terms and conditions at the discretion of the promoter or is it something they have to include by law?
I have come across a competition on ebuyer.com for a holiday and you have to buy a TV to enter () and I looked for a NPN entry route but didn't find one
any info would be helpful0 -
The No Purchase route used to be a requirement throughout the UK but the law changed a few years ago and now it's only required in Northern Ireland.0
