    Hi Everyone :)

Hope this is the right place to ask a few questions?

In the ITV comps it states either 3 or 5 entries per phone number etc.Does this allow you to enter multiple times as the same person but with a different phone number?.seems a bit odd to me really.

Still on ITV,how do the organizers collate the different entry methods(online, text, redbutton etc)into one collection to draw a winner from?

A more general question to finish if I may.

There seems to be a lot of 'Regional specific' comps (STV,liverpool/manc confidential, local papers etc) and I was wondering that even though the rules mostly dont state certain catchment areas only,do some of these/all of these tend to pick winners who are genuinely local to the source do you think? (the liverpool ones in particular look a little unkind to outsiders to me :P )

Thanks for any feedback and gl everyone :)

I'm not sure about 'outsiders' winning local competitions, although I have to admit I've never won any from Newcastle or Sheffield which I enter for friends, but I'm interested as to why you think the Liverpool ones look particularly unfriendly? We're very nice here, honestly!:rotfl:

I've won 2 with Liverpool Confidential and I'm based in Chester. Although one of them didn't say that it would have to be collected on the entry form when I got the telephone call to tell me that I had won they said that I had to collect. Luckily I am local but even more luckily they ended up posting it out :D Does make me wonder whether with the manchester/liverpool confidential ones whether you do have to be local? Has anyone who doesn't live in the North West ever won with them?

yes, entry limit is per phone number not per person (some are unlimited entries)

still on itv,how do the organizers collate the different entry methods(online, text, redbutton etc)into one collection to draw a winner from?

    no idea

if the terms do not limit entry area then it should not make any difference to winner selection, i have seen some that do not limit entry area but do require prize collection so a 200 mile trip to collect a prize worth £15 may not be worthwhile.

thanks for any feedback and gl everyone :)

    .Too slow....

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask this but hopefully someone can help me.

I have been entering the ITV comps online for over a year now and when I used to enter my details and then enter the two words in the RECAPTCHA box it used to tell me if I got it wrong and ask me to try again.

Now when I enter wrong words in the RECAPTCHA box it just accepts it and says I have been entered into the competition.

I have done this a few times and I'm wondering if I am really being entered into the comps with these wrong answers. Does anyone have any idea?

    xx

It tells me if I have them wrong, it does not appear to read both words/all of the letters so if you have the ones it checks correct then it will accept it.
