I have mine set to Forge and have still been winning :)

(thanking the Very Kind Comping Fairy)

I didn't realise that gerturdeanna was referring to the add on Ref Control thought that they where referring to the setting in FF's about:config

    which can be set thus

    0
Never send the Referer header or set document.referrer.

    1
Send the Referer header when clicking on a link, and set document.referrer for the following page

    2
Send the Referer header when clicking on a link or loading an image, and set document.referrer for the following page. (Default)

    mozilla gives the following disclaimer
Those concerned with privacy can set this to 0, realizing that this may adversely affect some sites. Those wanting to ensure compatibility should leave it at the default.
the only problem with Ref Control is that it takes to much control and blocks or forges all referral links and sometimes the referral links need to be sent to make the forms work the same warning above also applies to Ref control,s Block and Forge settings which can adversely affect some sites and cause some forms not to work :(

I found when using Ref Control that I was constantly adding sites to the exception list because the forms wouldn't work and it kind made me wonder what other unseen problems it was causing in the background

howether each to there own and if your happy using it and winning then that is all that matters

Anyone figured out how to get the Lucozade comp to work today please???
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

It's been working for me, I've entered 3 times in 3 different hours.

    Working ok for me!

have you tried turning Ref Control off looks to me that the form needs the correct referral link to work

    https://www.lucozadeadventures.com/signIn.aspx?ReturnUrl=/signIn.aspx

I think that the referral bits in bold type are vital for the form to work correctly

    Best of Luck :)

    thanks for trying,

I've allowed that site as exception, tried it completely disabled, cleared cookies, tried it in IE, FF, Chrome and Opera...

Its really annoying me. If it was down for everyone I could understand it, but its seems to be working for some and not working for others???

Theres loads of comments about it on their FB wall as well

What's the current recommendation from compers at present? I've just checked and my Ref control is on block for all sites - should I change this do you all think?

    Thanks
