Don't use any of the "See things differently" buttons on both boards0

thanks
that one puts them in date order of OP so people wanting to see the newest threads could view that way and the amount of comps posted there daily is pretty few compared to the main board
just familiarising myself reallysee what might work or not

To you, not to me.
If it is based on frequency of entry then there should be threads for all entry combinations such as unlimited entries, 5 entries, 3 entries, one time only etc. There are some on dailies which allow 10 entries over the course of a comp which runs more than 10 days so they are no more daily entry than a comp which only allows one entry.
id say a comp that cna be netered 3 or 5 times ill sit and do all entries in one go first time i see it.
a comp that can be entered 30 or more times ill enter once a day as id get seriously bored entering the same one 30 times in one go. likewise unlimited, ill enter once or maybe twice a day when i find them in the daily thread.
i prefer to spend my time entering those comps than one entry only when i cant do both.0 -

I know that would change over different weeks but seems manageable if people use it to check for new comps thereI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Hi All,
I've read the comping guidelines and couldn't see anything about this, but apologies if I've missed something!
I've got my own handmade jewellery page over on Facebook and I'm having a competition to win any item of jewellery from my shop when I reach 150 'likers'. I'll hold more competitions, the more likers I get.
I was wondering what the rules are on posting up a competition that I am holding myself? Any advice greatly appreciated!0 -
Hi loulou
It won't be in the comping guide, but it is in Martin's rules that no self promotion is allowed across the boards, including promoting your own competitions. If you PM one of the other compers, I am sure they will post it up for you
Never put tables and chairs in the same room.
If they congregate together for any length of time, they will inevitably hatch plots against you and your pets.
