I can see them both now? I seem to remember the forum does something around 4am, maybe connected with that.

This is what I do and I find it works for me. FB in FF is my comping one and then I have my normal FB in IE.

well i have painstakingly and time consumingly read back through almost the last 300 posts because i had heard about rumours of a change happening/possibly happening? and my searches werent finding the comps i would expect them too

i found several, well 7 posts actually that i wanted to comment/quote against, but it appears mse will only allow you to multiquote 3 at a time, so i have decided to quote them one at a time over the next 7 posts for claritys sake

it appears you have all had a good discussion about it last week, but this is the first i have heard of it, so sorry for bumping or bringing back old topics, but this is the discussion area and its my turn to want to discuss this

they are not true dailies in the real sense of the word yes you can enter them dailie but it is the same prize and they have a set closing date

I think that comps should only be transferred over to the Regulars board if there is a new (Daily) (Weekly) or (Monthly) prize and not just because you can make multiple entries in a given period of time

there will be a lot of people who don't do multiple entries who don't venture over to the Regulars board who will now miss out on entering these and numerous other competitions which used to always reside on the main board

it is the sci-fi ones in particular which bought me onto this discussion area in the first place, because they wer missing from my searching system

i think these should've been left where they were, along with a load of others ive noticed which are now in the regulars board, that a lot of ppl are going to miss out on

for one example of this, the latest sci-fi comp to win a ps3 which was posted on the main board and quickly moved to the regulars has atracted just 11 thanks, whereas the one posted previously to this here which was allowed to run its full course on the main board attracted 101 thanks

the idea i thought of sharing competitions was to have them placed where they gain the most exposure and this clearly shows that regulars is not the place for that!

i do not venture into regs myself very often because of the mess it is in tbh, as i think someone else i will quote shortly has also pointed out

the thanks count demonstrates that by moving these sci-fi and others into a board that is little used for whatever reason is having a detrimental effect on what people are getting from the comps board by a 90% reduction to what it was before all this messing about started
