    Hi Mennie,

I've also just come across your thread and agree with everyone else who has commented, you are doing a fantastic job. All these little savings will certainly add up for you. Have you used an overpayments calculator to see just how much difference all your effort is making? This one is fab - http://www.thismuchiknow.co.uk/?p=42 you could download it onto your desktop and keep on top of all your savings, keeping you motivated aswell.

I do daily clicks aswell and the best sites at the moment are Getpoundsback, Speedcashback, FatCheese, Ecasher and Cashbackchief. Worth joining them if you haven't already. Do you do the free daily scratchcard on the St Minver bingo sites aswell? Worth doing if you don't, thats 10p a day at least and you can cash out at £10.

Best of luck and i'll subscribe to your diary and follow your progress :)

Thanks, I am in this for the long haul, need to keep reminding myself that. Yeah I have played with O/P calculators and have an excel spreadsheets to keep track of it.

My overpayment is averaging at £65 per month, That will save us 4 years off the mortgage at the moment. Our MF Date is Sept 2032 and I will be 52 and a half:( Want to pay it off before I am 45. so we need to shave 7.5 years off. I reckon that is easily doable

Next year we are thinking of moving to an offset mortgage, We dont have alot in savings to offset, but DH is self employed so saves his tax all year round. I think If I can get the average overpayment up and coupled with the offset mortage, we will manage to pay it off by Feb 2025, God that still sounds sooooo long away

Well yesterday I found 2p and a 1st class stamp.

    This weekend I will
    • Apply for freebies - DOne applied for 4
    • daily clicks - Done only 16p, cant be bothered with anymore today
    • chase up two complaints - DONE
    • chase up two PPI claims, they cant find our account numbers.
    • Make lists of whats in the cupboards
    • Wrap all the Xmas presents I have bought so faar
    • Make a coat for the dog
    • give the stinky dog a bath - DONE
    • remake the draught excluders using the bottoms I cut of the curtains - Done and rather proud
    • Check I am still the cheapest on Amazon - DONE
    • Look at Greenmotropolis and Music Magpie - Dont have enough CDs, so will just stick to amazon
    • Attach some fleece to the back of the attic hatch - DOne and really pleased with it
    • Block up gaps in Kitchen cupboards
    • Do a Xmas Food List
    • Send of My Try me Free receipts - Done, hope the cheques arent too long in coming back
    • Sort and hide all the winter supplies I have bought - Hubby thinks I am mad and that I am preparing for Armageddon, so I have to buy the extras in secret and hide them:rotfl: DONE!- Looks like a have a weeks shopping on top of my kitchen cupboards
    • Make some bread DONE
I did have a result this week. I set up a pay monthly contract with vodafone and should have got £91 cashback from topcashback for doing so. The order was delayed, so vodafone cancelled it and reorded it meaning I wouldnt get the cashback. After several lengthy phoncalls Vodafone have put £101 in my bank. £91 cashback and £10 apology. I have gone onto top cashback and now this £91 is tracking so I may get it twice. I doubt it though, I am really pleased to have had it at all.

Have a fab weekend all, sorry for rambling

I'm intrigued by you finding stamps - are these from work where incoming post has not been franked?

Good luck with your busy weekend
