    Thanks Young One

I am still determined with the heating!! I have had it on a couple of times this year to dry washing but it will not be going on til at least mid october.

Well today I have showered, washed and dried my hair at the gym, had breakfast at my parents and found 30p!! Yey!! The dog is so far enjoying her tesco dog food trial, thank god.

Yesterday I received some hawaiin tropic samples, they have been put away for next summer.

Today I will get on with the remaining few items on my list and snuggle up on the sofa with OH, dog and a film.:D

    Happy Sunday everyone.

Well I am off work today but meeting friends later so wont have much time today. Yesterday I managed to complete everyything off my list. My freezer is bursting with meals and I have soup to take to work everyday for my lunch.

    Today I will
    • Look at changing energy suppliers anyway as the cashback and savings I get would negate the £40 - had a look and doesnt seem worth it until March, the prices are similar and only £50 cashback so not saving much, will save more if I switch in April
    • Look at PPI reclaim on an old loan and credit card my hubby had - eek my head hurts ?!?!?!
    • Daily clicks - 87p
    • Freebies 7 applied for
    • count piggy bank - not enough to bank anything yet :(
    • Look at starting a MFW spreadsheet to further motivate me and make OH see how much we are saving DOne. I love love love my new speadsheet, my daily interest has gone from 11.63 to 11.45 and will drop to 7.03 when the fixed rate ends this month. Wooty Woo!!!!

I am feeling spurred on by my sparkly new mortgage spreadsheet

In the last 2 days I have
    • Found 11p in the street :j I love FREE money
    • Sent off PPI reclaim forms for an old store card and old catalogue I used to have, had totally forgot about these - Am doing the biggies - OH old loan and CC tonight.
    • Made and took my lunches to work
    • Have got £11 expenses in this months wages that i had forgotten about
    • Found out I am getting a very tiny (not even a full 1%) payrise. get this next month backdated to April!!!
    • Have a £4 voucher to use for my shopping tommorrow
    • received a No7 makeup pallette free from boots, for a comment a sent them
    • I am due £22.50 MS money. This goes towards Xmas.
    • I bought all my Xmas paper, tags and bows in Birthdays for 49p and all my cards for 99p
    • When I do the Food shopping tomorrow I am going armed with a list of the mispriced 1p items in Tesco and all the TMF offers and taking my own bags for the green points
I will make my overpayment tomorrow night. It will be very small. At the minute my account is £8 in debit. As I have allowed £48 for the food shopping. I will aim to spend as little as possible. and what is left in the account will get split between the Savings and Mortgage, With probably only be £4 each, but I would feel awful if I didnt overpay.

I am excited for next month, backdated payrise and my mortgage comes off fixed rate, saving me £80 per month!!!:T

Received £2 in coupons and a sample of washing powder today and found 4p.

N POwer are giving me £100 credit to stay with them and putting me on the cheaper tarriff.

Well today does feel like winter doesnt it??!?!? Not giving in and putting the heating on hough, although I may have to revise my original plans of leaving it until November!!

I have sent off all the PPI claims. There were 5 in total 3 biggies and 2 littlies. I sooooooooooooooo hope we hear something, as they will cushion us for winter and pay for the bathroom, so all the spare money can go to the mortgage.

I am also chasing up some dividend payments as My hubby didnt let inform capita when we moved as i noticed last night he had any £ from them for 3!! years. So hopefully we will soon receive 3 years of dividends!!

Received a £2 Nestle voucher today, that will help with Xmas sweets

I bought all octpober train tickets in singles rather than monthly season and saved £38 and got £2.30 cashback. I am even getting some later trains home as they are cheaper.:money:

    Had 4 NSD last week!!

    Today I will be
    • Not putting the heating on!:p
    • Applying for freebies
    • Daily Clicks
    • Competitions
    • Making a loaf
    • Making a casserole in SC with 40p stewing steak
    • Changing over to winter bedding
    • Lining curtains with Fleeces
    • Getting draught exluders down from loft
    Have a good weekend all

Good luck on this. I did have mixed feelings over some people I know who reclaimed bank charges - they were too !!!!less to control their spending and deserved to be charged. However, I also celebrated :T with those who got caught into the endless cycle of more and more charges being applied because they were suffering the after effects of last month's charges - talk about kicking someone when they're down. PPI misselling was just wrong, grrr, makes me angry .

Good luck with your list for the day :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Sorry about the profanity Gally Girl. I take it that means you are ignoring it?

I know what you eman about Bank Charges, never been caught by them luckily, the PPI is mostly my Hubbies. 2 of claims are for an a Xmas catalogue and a New look card (tut tut) I used to have, The 3 biggies are his, he is just not the best with money - lucky he has me!!!
