God I really have been neglecting my poor diary!!
Well sadly I have not managed my £1200 in overpayments this year. I have overpaid around £950.00
This is only because I have started to split all our surplus money between lots of other savings too.
Mortgage £947/£1200
Xmas Paid for
Winter All stocked up and prepped for
Top up SAP £880/1600
Adoption £234/£1000
I have also started savings for Home improvements, Hair Cuts, Pet Costs, Gifts, Holidays bought £100 Premium Bonds
I have never been so organised with Money so I dont mind that I didnt meet our targets
Havent really set a target for next year as I could go on to Statutory Adoption Pay any time from June, so income will reduce. Will just keep overpaying/saving what we can while we can.2014 = New Year, New Me0 -
Well I may have have fallen off the wagon diary wise, but certainly not goal wise
We have now adopted a toddler and I am currently on adoption leave
We have been saving like mad and had a blow out holiday before the littly came along.
We have been making small OPs to the mortgage and it is down to £63500, But we are seriously considering re mortgaging in November to extend the house.
I have a new set of goals and new diary
