Tacos or Enchiladas- stuff taco shells with mince *cooked however spicy you do/not like it*, top with lettuce and cheese for those that like it, then try and eat it without wearing it as it spills out the sides :D yum yum yum :D on a spanish-esq theme just now

Mm taco's are so lovely :) and fun to eat too.

Easiest thing (although I'm not THAT keen on it but I'm not that keen on curry unless it's Indian) is curried mince. As far as I know it's curry powder and mince :rotfl:

Our favourite in courgette season is this mince recipe:

    1) brown mince together with an onion
    2) add cubed courgette and stir-fry until courgette is a little soft.
    3) season with salt & pepper (optional: add some dried mixed herbs or herbes de provence)
    4) transfer the mixture to an oven dish
    5) pour one or 2 eggs, lightly beaten, over the top
    6) 20 mins in 180° oven

serve with rice and tomato ketchup.

my asda today was selling their normal mince 250g pack for 25p each.
Already had 1 packet in my fridge and I got another 4 packet.

I now have 1.25kg of mince and I have no clue what to do with it lol.

I have onions and carrots, potatoes and gravy in the cupboard.

I was going to use one to make bolognese with my cheap Ragu sauce I got on offer 2 for £1..

but what can I make with the rest?

I was thinking about frikadellen but then I have to get pork mince as well.

    any ideas gladly welcomes.

P.s I have most cooking equipment including a new unused dont know how to slow cooker

Was that the mince that was cheap (50p) at the weekend? I'd like to know how it is (fatty?) as I bought some of their sausages when last on 50p offer and am trying to find recipes to make them more palatable!

yeah thats the same mince ...

we had bought 2 packets at 50p (one left from that batch) and used it for spagetti bolognese with the other ragu offer sauce and it was nice.

I like the normal mince and not extra lean as I like the fat for flavour.
