I've also talked to my dad about the ADD thing and he was OK about it and happy to do a history for my doctor (when I finally get seen lol) so that's a massive weight off my mind. Anyway just popping in to say hi really, hugs all

This morning I remembered when we used to have mini challenges and tasks and targets, and even words which inspired us; and I realised I have been missing them, and have descended into chaos and currently feel like I am a hamster on a wheel just going round and around without really achieving anything. So I need to get back on track with everything - including this challenge, so here I am, and I am inviting you to join me in my new mini challenge!!
My mini challenge for this week is to get focused and back into the challenge and to do it I am giving myself a word of the week to work to - the word I have chosen is RESOURCEFUL ! (You can join me with mine or choose your own - whatever suits you best!) Why have I chosen RESOURCEFUL? By only 10am this morning I had created a list of things I wanted to spend money on.....then realised I don't actually have any money spare so I am going to be RESOURCEFUL and come up with creative solutions so I don't need to spend money. I then realised that I can also be RESOURCEFUL in finding more ways to make money. I already have more PR work which helps, and I know of things I can sell on ebay - so I am going to see what else I can find to sell, and how resourceful I can be at saving money - I want to get back to basics - so meal planning, which means being resourceful with what I already have in the cupboard!
So am I on my own, or you going to join me with this last push to get up our totals for the year??? Honestly I am not really expecting too much but every little helps , and if gets me focused and organised then I can hit next years challenge running !!
Right - off to find ways to be RESOURCEFUL!! ttfn xxLife is a work in progress0 -
Hey Nixi, Love that idea my word will be:
COMPLETE
This weekend I found a bundle of half finished or unfinished projects that I have had bubbling over - some of the projects ideas were toddler size and had been kicking around for TWO YEARS!!!! eek. So, my watch word will be to complete everything that I do and to make sure that I don't have stuff hanging over me.
I also want to complete my commitments list - I will make a to do list and cross it off as I go.
Nixi great stuff about the PR and your site is on my COMPLETE list too!10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000
11K 2011 challenge: £1023/£11000

wow - I knew the dribblers were quiet; we used to generate dozens of pages in one evening now we are less than a page a week
I'm feeling sad, like this is the end of an era

Hey Nixi,
it is very quiet. It may be the end of an era or just a prolonged lull. I don't know. I like your mini challenge though and am working out what my word would be. I am thinking it will be BEGIN as I am really procrastinating a lot at the moment.
The job is going well but I am feeling lousy at the moment with a cold that keeps coming and going an just a real weak/ poorly/ jelly feeling in my legs and arms. So I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with all I have to do - not particularly work though..

Hugs Jo, glad job is going well but not so good that you aren't feeling well. Are you doing too much? I was a bit like that at the beginning of this year and I took a tonic for a few days...it really helped, at least I think it did because within a few days I was feeling much better and managed to shift the bugs. Maybe worth a try? I just asked at my local pharmacy and tried the one they recommended. Hugs again hun, look after yourself. xxLife is a work in progress0
