hahahahhahaha thanks Jo!
You're so right with your advice - that's a great idea for both making and recognising progress. I'll remember that
All your great work was however overshadowed by those two mighty words... you know the ones lol xxx He's a miracle maker lolol
ooh let's focus back on Mabel's dribble....Just £10,852.28p to go...
Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
And then do it.0 -
Hehe Em I just couldn't resist!
nice try to turn attention back on mabels merkins and away from your own starstruck droolings!!
may have to get Paula to make you a little clay peep of him (in a merkin!)
anyway, I will tease no more as I don't want to scare you away from the dribblers when you've only just come back.
Great to see some of the old timers back tonight.

*straggles in and sits down*
evening everyone! just me the forever MIA munchki lol
Like everyone else I seem to find myself thinking about the past year and feel like I have not worked hard enough, given enough, done enough, pushed enough or succeeded enough and on the opposite end of the scale my body literally says the opposite!
Incredibly stressed, tired, more like exhausted and feel in a fog these days. Have been under the weather the past couple of weeks and it came to a grand slam head on sunday evening when about 10pm I was literally in excruciating pain. Went to the docs on monday morning found out have gastroenteritis (however you spell it) and prob caused a tummy ulcer as well! Not been good and went back to work on wednesday which was not the best idea I have had recently but cant get paid if I dont work! bloody viscious cycle or what! I did book next week off so will give me time to heal, pain slowly creeping tonight which tells me prob pushed to hard again. I really really need to learn to relax and destress two things I have NEVER been good at.
My 72 year old neighbor lost his partner last week so I have been kind of keeping an eye on him, bringing him cooked meals and having a daily chat with him, I hate to see people hurting and sometimes I just sit and let him vent, rant or just talk about whatever is on his mind.
Nice to see people are still here and I do hope as the nights continue to draw in that we can all gather back here again and chat the hours away in the evening. I have missed everyone so so much. Trying to make plans for next year on the money front and going to set short monthly and quarterly goals to work towards. I can be rather competative so the shorter goals work well for me. Easily amused I am eh?
Paula - trying to remember what I was supposed to remind you of lol
Hayley - I am so sorry have not gotten back to you, but you have not been forgotten and I am hoping to have time to breathe over the next few days! forgive me please?
Everyone else, well thank you for just being the wonderful friends and people you all are. super special and always near in my thoughts.
hugs xxI am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0
