hello thread
sounds like everyone's doing well?
I have a work placement (only taken 4 months to happen)
doing data entry for the council - adding details from the old, old (1800's!) books of burial records & grave purchases to a database.
It's only part time, two mornings a week & I'm not getting paid or anything...
Having to massively re-adjust atm, not sure how well I'll cope & I'm not used to early mornings
Here's a load of dribble...
Had a bailiff on my doorstep near the beginning of the month, claiming he'd be coming back with an locksmith to gain entry if I wasn't in, & wanting me to phone him to "pay the minimum" Lying !!!!
On the placement I've been having cups of coffeefrom a council mug that says "Jacobs Bailiffs: fair but firm" in comic sans lol :rotfl:
Sold a load of dvds that I was never going to get round to watching & some cds to the local market & dvd&games shop - got £18 for them.
and another lot to musicmagpie (checked their prices first), should be getting £14-£15 from them, just waiting for the cheque still.
+cashback from Topcashback:T
Had some little bits of luck from the selling fairy; got my box of books out to weigh them and revise my prices, needed to login to Greenmetropolis because my listings were expiring - decided to check them & add more. Found one book that I thought had been on there but hadn't, as it was a US edition w/ a stuck-over UK barcode. It had been hanging around for ages on other sites but sold almost straight away after going on greenmetropolis after adding it with extra notes on which edition it was.
I'd had trouble with my musicmagpie order, browser crashed and the list kept disapearing when I logged in again - when I got the form from them there were two dvds on it that I thought I'd removed and one I'd added that was missing. Stuck the stray one back on amazon and it sold over night for £3.00 (+p&p & -amazon fees) - not bad for something I'd got from Poundland:cool:
Also grabbed one of the last Doctor Who End Of Time figures off the ultra reduced bargin shelf in Tescos, only to realise once I got home it was the one I'd already got but in better condition - the other one had big reduced price stickers over the plastic that left marks. Managed to sell the old one just in time before getting kicked off from selling toys because my overall sales aren't good enough.
Four/five (just had another dvd sale) amazon sales since the beginning of September but no new feedback
If anyone was thinking of taking advantage of Smiths buy one, get one half price offer on annuals (unless that's just local) the unofficial Stars of Twilight one's an restricted item on amazon & limited to pre-approved sellers only.
Bampton Fair tomorrow *excited*

Hi Jenna! Good stuff about the selling
I love the coffee mug thing, that made me laugh. Are you into Dr Who then? I get all emotional watching David Tennant lol, was expecting to like the new series better and still think it's filmed in a much cooler way...but Matt Smith... I dunno.
Have a nice holiday Elly, are you going away or just relaxing?
Just wanted to share the feedback I got from the Australian bride, she sounds absolutely lovely

Forgot to say, I got my letter from the mental health people, they said I may have to wait six months! I can't wait that long, aaargh. Going to see GP to find out about maybe trying Strattera, which is non-controlled and might be an acceptable starting point. Let's hope eh xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
