    What beautiful pictures!

And how right you are about feeling other people's daily stresses and dramas, good and bad! It really is a fab place, this!!

Thanks for sharing the pics Choc, he's gorgeous and so's your little girl too. You must be so proud. I can't get broody really as it would have to be a miraculous conception for me to have any more babies... Probably just as well really, I like mine being able to wash and dress themselves, and sleep right through etc lol!!

  • Lol, I think he looks sort of grumpy in all his photos, not half as cute as in real life! Will keep trying to get a better one!

Is it possible for me to feel broody with a week old baby? I hate the feeling that this is the last time but OH claims there's no way he's going through another week like last week.

Tom was a little treasure last night. He woke up three times to feed between 10pm and 6am and went straight back to sleep each time, meaning we all got a good night sleep. I got a bit panicked this morning as OH got up with him at 6 to change and wind him and said he'd bring him back for a top-up feed. At 8.15 I woke up to find moses basket and no baby (and hadn't been back for a top up feed). Raced out of the bedroom to find OH coming up the stairs. Like a madwoman I was ranting "Where's the baby?" to find he's laid him down to sleep on the sofa. Cue stern talk from me to OH about how he must never put him to sleep on the sofa, always in his basket (midwives and health visitor were both quite clear on this and my sister's baby died of cot death while asleep on the sofa). I hope I've got it through to OH now, although you could tell he felt as though he were being "told off".

OH has now popped to work to take his road accident form (how long ago that feels!) and to talk to his bosses. Hopefully he won't be too long as we are supposed to be taking Tom into my work this morning. Talking of which, had better jump in the shower or I won't be ready to go.

    back later...

  • Ahhh he is perfect!! Oh and it is so possible to feel broody again, I am just the same, I think that I feel like I need(!!) to do it again so it goes right this time - if that makes sense????!! I am really hoping that I get over it soon, I was sort of hoping I would have number 3 and get that 'my family is now complete' feeling. And wow you are super woman 'jumping' in the shower, lol, I am most definately still not jumping!!! Lol!!

What...hang on - I am counting on number 3 (when it happens - motivation to get DF!!) being the one that makes me think - right enough, never again. Hmmm....won't mention that to OH!! :D
