But, hey, regardless of what your hair looks like, you have had yummy fish and chips for your dinner.

After all my fish and chip comments, I ended up having cous cous! And haven't had my hair cut since last year, so imagine how mine looks!!!!!

Enjoy your weekend....just don't talk to anyone called Vernon

Great so will be fat with Liz Macdonald's hair! Speaking of which, and not remotely concerned with DFW but I woke up with a baby bump today that wasn't there yesterday - how does that happen overnight? And strangely it was all pointing over towards the right side, not evenly centred at all.

Ok, need a bag to breathe deeply into as my head fills with two headed, three legged baby images. And there was me just worrying about the usual possible problems!!

    Ok...breathe....breathe...breathe

Our refunded mortgage exit fees went into the bank yesterday. OH phoned his bank today to find out what the mystery deposit was and they tols him it was from RBS who I think own Direct line who we had our mortgage with. We got a whole........

    £14!

Still, not bad for one phonecall and is better than us having to give them £14!

Hey, that is £14 more than we got when we applied for our refund. We were told that we had not paid anything, so nothing due back!!!

Plus, it covers the cost of the fish and chips last night! We had ours tonight. Very yummy :D

Peaceful day today. DD is out at a two day footballing course (must remember to pick her up at 3 o'clock!!) and DS is out on bike with his friends. Have been to hospital for blood tests; should hear results on Wedneday. Fingers crossed for everything being ok. Hospital have lost my notes tht I should have had back today though which is slightly annoying as if my midwife doesn't still have them then I need to fill it all in again!

No moneysaving to report other than sent off for £10 Argos voucher from IPSOS. I need to ebay some more stuff - someone shame me into going and doing it instead of traling through debt diaries. Slightly concerned too as one of my buyers hasn't paid for their item from last week and they are a new buyer with zero feedback and only joined 2 days before the auction finished.

Well finally got myself off my idle behind, sorted out my wardrobe and listed some stuff on ebay. Not sure anyone will want to buy it, but we'll see. Often I find my lovely tasteful stuff is completed ignored and the crap is snapped up!

DD is off footballing again today (in the rain, bless her - last time she went and it rained she came home head to foot in mud!). I plan to drop her off then go to the market and stock up on cheap snack type things (crackers, cereal bars, not sure what else) to smuggle into Disneyland Paris next week. Hopefully will lower food bills while we are there...especially as the family we are going with are taking almost double the spending money that we are...eek!

Need to change the money into euros as well but waiting til Friday (I want the money to sit in my account as long as possible first!)
  • DS has gone swimming with friends so I'm home alone again. Do I make good use of the time and get things done or do I stare vacantly at MSE for hours on end?? Decisions, decisions!!

Someone really needs to get tough with me and send me away from the computer!
  • Off to the midwife today. Am strangely excited even though I know she won't do much more than take my blood pressure! Also the hospital should phone with results of Monday's blood tests.

Other than that, not much going on. Nothing moneysaving that I can think of other than my ebay item has been paid so need to post that off.

I need to give my kitchen cupboards a bit of a clean / sort (I live an exciting life, don't I?). They are driving me mad when I go in them so might have a sort and see what I can throw away!
