hope all goes well with midwife/tests - do you get to hear baby's heartbeat?
well done on (finally, lol) clearing out your wardrobe - hope it all sells!
I've just cleaned my kitchen top to bottom - oh joy! gotloads of accounty / planning type jobs to do and i'll feel really good when i've got shot of them but it's too easy to get lost on here...yesterday i spent 3/4 hour looking for aflapjack recipe on old-style - sad? moi?
any news on the house move?0 -
No, nothing at all on house move. I know we're in no desperate hurry but it's been over a month since we accepted the offer and haven't heard much else. Might have to send OH to estate agents at weekend to see if they know what's going on.
Midwife appointment went fine but it took her ages, absolutely ages to find a heartbeat. When she finally found it is was really echo-y and she said she thought baby was tucked away in pelvis with placenta at the front and that was why it was hard to find.
Hospital phoned with blood test results. All the people on the baby board I visit seemed to find out what their risk factor was; all the midwife said to me was "Your results are low risk" which is great but me being the control freak I am I wanted to know how low risk!!
Anyway, not back at midwife now until 24 week check which is 10th October - that seems like ages away!!0 -
hi choco, glad that all seems well with the baby. I am sure low risk means just that
I am currently trying to bribe DD to go and buy me some chocolate. Bad motherWho, me :rotfl:

I thought you had given up chocolate?0

More a case of getting it under control and not using it as an emotional crutch.

Still got plenty here if you're passing through Durham. What you want? Milk Tray? Quality Street? Roses? Swap you for a really salty bag of crisps! (Every bag I've had lately seems to say reduced salt, reduced fat. Yes and reduced taste as well!!!)0

Sorry, more of a dark chocolate girl, me!
my food craving when pregnant was cockles and coleslaw! The poor guy I shared an office with at the time had to put up with the smell of fish everyday!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Don't you just hate those crisps made in sunflower oil? Give me old fashioned crisps!

Hear, hear! I might as well not eat crisps if they're too healthy! there's got to be some balance between health and taste!0
