Actually, does it really matter if it is a little cliquey? Just because certain posters have special friends (moggins & Kaz; Twink & Kyle etc) so what? It's only like the school playground where small groups form, it doesn't mean that there is any animosity, and it doesn't mean that we can't all be friendly, and support one another when it counts. No one acknowledged me the first time I posted on the daily but a few do now, and that's a good feeling:smiley:

I don't see the need in anyone not posting anymore:confused:

We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

  • Hi!
soz, only flicked through the replies.

I don't post as often anymore due to time restrained but I always used to post on the daily thread.

I kind of took that thread to be a bit of an os/general chitchat thread.

I'd post the stuff I was doing thru the day & also sometimes I'd put in about how I was feeling (I suffer with depression) cos I thought I was amongst friends.

age, please. Your post was directed to me; it was directed to me because of my comment.
who said it was not directed to you?

To now post that you feared I would shoot you down in flames and I would cause you aggro is unfounded and unfair.

We're all grown ups and hopefully can discuss this? It was obvious that you didn't understand where my comment was coming from and I've taken a goodly amount of time this morning to explain the broader picture so that you will *not* feel any negative emotions from it.

For the third time (the original post, my response to it and now this one) it was not personal!!!!

    To everyone else:-

In the past few days, I have managed to upset several users. That was never and has never been my intention; it's not my way - but I do accept that, intended or not, it happens. I'm sorry it's happening, but

If members are feeling upset and taking things personally that were not intended, deciding not to post any more and making assumptions based on my words, then that saddens me. I can't take responsibility for how you choose to feel, but I do feel saddened by it because it is an extreme stance to take when all that is being discussed are a few changes to *improve* the functioning of the community.

By the same token, if this thread has meant that we now have others who feel they are able to join in and be a part of the community as a result of clarifying a few points and making a few tweaks, I think that is a good thing and welcome them.

I deleted my post because I didn't want this to happen but from somewhere you have been able to post it again:confused:
  • They have the knack of doing that hun;) :D ....dont worry about it!
