Not sure luc, I can sort the garden out I guess and prepare fir next years planting, I also just saw that local town has a camera club and thought maybe I might go along and see what they are up to.

I just need a few things to settle down and I think I'll be back on an even keel but the irrational thoughts really get to me

Sorry hun....big ((((hugs)))) coz I can't offer anything more practical. Hope you and OH manage to get some romantic time for yourselves and that you hash a few things through.

Things will get better and you will start to feel more at home. You have had SO MUCH to cope with all at the same time. Whilst you have dealt with it brilliantly, it has taken its toll on your emotions and you need to take time to recover.

Thinking of you and your lovely family x

ohhhhhhh, Sally, we live about 3 miles away from each other now. I know it sounds mad to say that I am shy, but I am rubbish at doing the 'coffee and a chat' kind of thing or even suggesting it to anyone, I just really, really am :o but I am always here for you if you want to come to me at any time of the day or night (but remember I need bathroom cleaning time :rotfl:), we have Poole park, Baiter, Whitecliff to go to with Charlie and B and the beach in late autumn is lovely and quiet and I'm happy to meet at the Willett Arms any evening for a chat as it's local to us both. I'm only doing water though these days because of CD so don't ever feel it has to be an expensive night out or anything. (well unless you fancy getting bladdered on Chateau Neuf du Pape and sliding under the table - go for it :D).

Ah BB that made me laugh the thought of me getting bladdered and sliding under the table! I would love to meet up, im rubbish too at suggesting things and talking face to face to people about stuff.

I had a chat to OH last night and basically said that I kept thinking that Id made the wrong decision and just felt very sad and he was very understanding and after I felt better but when I wake up and the day starts I just have that dreaded feeling again. I just have this inbuilt things where I like things to stay the same and have things around me that are the same.

I was remembering back to when I went to Australia and I was living with my friend and her family, I felt totally at home, had a friend whom knew me very very well and vice versa. I then got a job and moved in with this family and I felt just like I do at the moment, very disjointed, unsettled, homesick and spent days in tears. In the end I left the job and ended up coming back to the UK early. It was a huge relief to get back to familiarity BUT I missed out on lots of things just due to me being a bit out of my depth.

I know that probably in 6 months time I'll look back and wonder why I felt like that but its getting to that point. All I keep thinking about is moving Bea back to her old school....stupid because that really isn't going to help her in the long run. Its funny because I never thought just changing schools would have so much effect on me

Monday again! Have been dreading it all weekend but actually she was better than expected to be honest. Weekend was a funny old one, lots of running around, children and driving.

Rather exciting news in our house is that we've bought a new sofa... Or rather OH has! We have been using my 2 old things and they are both so uncomfortable it was time to get rid of. Just need to find another small sofa or armchair now to compliment it. Even better was that we had agreed on it in John Lewis and then I found one on eBay brand new half price... Saved us £600 :)

Here is the sofa, I would have gone for something a bit more traditional and OH would have gone for something more modern so we settled half way lol! Just wish it would turn up now :)

Other news is that Ive got my laminated writing sheet back out and its given me focus to get on and do jobs instead of drifting along.
Next lot of news is that I might have a new job :) Oh and Ive Joined the school committee

Sad news is B said to me last night when I asked her if she played with anyone at school and she replied No, noone wants to be my friend so I played on my own :( Just wish there was a lovely quiet little girl that would be friends with her and make her feel more settled, she just needs a buddy
