  • Invite girls for tea, speak to mums from her class and explain how she is feeling (be brave) and have people back and create fun, she will be fine in no time. If a new mum came up to me and told me that her child was new to the class and struggling then I would help all I could by arranging play dates. Good luck it must break your heart but she will be fine in the long run.

It's really hard to know who the mums are from her class as the whole school stand together in the playground. I'll have another chat to her teacher this afternoon and see if there is anyone in particular she plays with and find out who the mum is! I know it's still very early days but breaks my heart seeing her so sad!

Squizz the job well I'm not really sure what it will entail as yet. Basically we have this lady who comes into the shop and does baby hand and foot pottery castings and silver jewellery. She only lives about 3 miles from me and said she's getting really busy and might be able to offer me something. She's asked me to go around to her business and have a chat. I've told her hours I can do and how much pay so will see but would save me over £200a month in petrol costs to start with!

still haven't finished my list lol!

What a manic weekend/couple of days!
Brothers wedding which was fantastic and we all had an amazing time...as I helped the photographer with the group shots she did some photographs of B and me and then some of the 3 of us and some of me and OH :) can't wait to see them
Sunday was recovery day and intended early night as we were all totally exhausted, ended up in a&e with b after she managed to trip and fall face first into the wall, blood everywhere and teeth hanging out
Day off work yesterday to take her to dentist where we are now in a waiting game to see if they die or not...bless her, gone off to school with fat lip and grazed chin lol.

Now the other big news is :):) I have a new job :) - Went to see the lady I know who does some work in the shop and she would like me to work for her initially 16 hours a week 9:30-2:30 to fit in around school but hours might increase if I want them too in future. She lives 5 mins from me and I can cycle or walk if need be...now I just have to tell my boss I am leaving, which I am dreading, she's been so fantastic I feel bad. Just can't afford to stay and the driving and being so far away from B in the day is too much

So all change in my life yet again!

  • Poor B's teeth, I hope they're OK.

Brilliant news about the job - it sounds much better, hopefully you'll be less bored too! Don't feel bad about telling your boss, I'm sure she'll be understanding, and she's not always been entirely brilliant has she? :)

Well she's always been pretty good to be honest but she knows that its not something I intended to stay in permanently. This job will also allow me to have hours in school on the days im not working but do more hours to make the 16 hours on the other days. I can't do that here because of driving the 40 mins back and forth and also because other lady doesn't want to change her hours. So anyway im hoping I will have a few days of holiday left to use and can have half term week off so only 3 weeks left here :)

  • It's never fun telling bosses you're leaving - much better once it's out of the way though! Is the new job with the woman who does the baby feet thing?
