Evening everyone
Been frantically packing and sorting over last couple of days, so not had any time to post. All my stuff is heading south to Essex on Saturday, then on Tuesday after my final inspection at 9am, I will be following it. I hope they are a friendly bunch in essex;), especially to a Northerner.
I have freecycled quite a few items and my fold down dining table is on its way to Perth after the weekend(2 ladies collected it for their mum). Even the old exercise bike with no resitance has managed to get a new home. I have managed to sell my washing machine, other dining table and even my pushbike so not too bad. My daughter has claimed my fridge freezer, so that is being transported to the Lakes tomorrow by the removal company.
Have been living off my freezer contents over last few days and now just got whats left in the coolbox(not much). DS1 job has fallen through in Spain so he had decided to stay with his dad, but come down every 4 weeks to see me. Then I will be back up inbetween.
Ended up going to the Drs today but could only see the nurse, thought I had an infection under my nail on my toe(i was told this about a month ago by chiropodist, but he never advised me to do anything) anyway pain is alot worse and seems to be travelling into my foot and is just so painful when I put any pressure on it, got some antibiotics, but just wondered if I may have fractured a bone at some point. is there anything that you can do if that is the case?
Welcome to all the Newbies that I have missed. It is lovely here.

Rosyred - Glad your Aunt is ok.
Snoozer - well done to your ds, what an achievement at such a young age.
Well I'd better have an early night, need to empty loft tomorrow and still got all ds2 toys to sort out. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.

Csarina - I am not sure what medical condition your OH has but I know it can be terribly frustrating and upsetting watching a loved one when they are ill. Although I have lots of medical problems myself, when my relatives are ill I feel so powerless as you get to a point where there is nothing else you can do to help them, but then I remember the times I feel poorly that just having someone around who cares is such a comfort. Hugs x x x xHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0

Hey, just bobbing in to give hugs to Csarina...and to say that i've had another lovely holiday day. FWB took me out for a nice lunch and wine, I helped him shop for a bit then he took me for a cocktail. He is a lovely guy who's having a rough time just now so we're spending loads of time together and we always have such a laugh. Have done a bit more decluttering today and saw a mate tonight.
Hugs to all XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0
