    So glad the weather didn't get to you Wol xx

    Thanks Taxi :beer::beer:

    Had a very poor night's sleep last night courtesy of gale force winds/driving rain but mostly the cramps/pain etc returning. GP says it will continue like this (not the gale force winds but the cramps:rotfl::rotfl:) for a couple of weeks.

    Feeling better this afternoon although look like I;ve aged 20 years overnight :eek: (sigh the resilience of youth...I remember those all-night-raves as a student....such a shame that as one gets older, a bad night's sleep etches onto the face the following day and I look like something the cat's dragged in :(...oops sorry Lula perhaps I should rephrase that as I certainly don;t have whiskers, fur, a tail and nasty pointy teeth..even if I sometimes scurry around. :rotfl::rotfl:)

    Next weather warning is for thursday..:cool:..I am just praying that it clears up this weekend so i can take les parents out somewhere rather than being stuck in the house all weekend with them as it won;t do any of us any good:o

    The local agricultural show is on that weekend and I don;t think they;ve ever been to one before so might be a good bet (it's not just about cows and sheep - loads of gardening and clothing stalls (great MSE bargains on bulbs for instance :money:) , Aston Martins and other prestigious cars, beer and food tents, horticultural exhibitions, fly fishing, archery, falconry, terrier racing etc etc) - alternatively, KC's new home town have a great day planned in the cafe area with jazz bands etc all day sunday so we might arrange to meet up with her and go over there :D

    Nowt on my diary ...can be summed in one sentence...went to bank and shops in wig and was scared of it blowing off in the wind and rain...that's my whole day.

    Awww hugs Hun :grouphug::grouphug:- but it's great news you have gone out today with your new hairdo....that's a fantastic achievement :T:T

    Well done you :beer::beer:......I'm really absolutely awed (and humbled) at your strength, resilience and most of all your incredibly short "bounce-back" time...you are one really strong and dynamic lady :T:T. Keep going Hun.....we're with you alll the way

    Much love to you and yours

    Whoa, Wol, you never stand still, do you? Page 4 of your diary already! Hope you are recuperating from your op and will be fit in time for the family visiting. I too am expecting visitors later this week for 4 days over the weekend, so that's 4 lots of breakfasts, lunches, afternoon cakes and dinners to plan and shop for. Thank goodness it's payday on Thursday!

    Yay Nargle :j:j:j

    How are you Hun? Have missed you - hope all is well ;)

    Don;t envy you a 4 day stint (mes parents were oroginally angling for 5 days :eek::eek::eek:.....but I politely steered them in the direction of 3 days - and was also saved by the dentist( :A:A)calling mum in for a root canal job this thursday .....phew!

    Sounds like you;d better get them chickies laying a few more eggs if you have company - how are they doing? More's to the point - how are YOU doing? Are you planning on updating your diary?

    Hopefully you;ve not fallen victim to the horrendous wetaher conditions recently and things are OK chez Nargle? Not sure but think you might have been away on hols recently? If so, hope you had a lovely relaxing time.

    Shall check my subscribed threads for further news ;)

    Lovely to have you back - you woz missed:kisses3::kisses3:

    P.S. (Don;t forget the 23rd July next year for the big 50 chez Wol as would really love it if you could be here)
