Hmmmm....there is a lot of wheeking coming from the lounge......I really should stop posting now as I DO need to clean out the piggies tonight.........and also feed them the spinach that they know I have in the fridge (because i have been sneakily giving Grommie some bits all through the day and they can obviously hear him chomping :o)

Might be back on later - otherwise will be back on tomorrow with my cunning plans :D:D

Nite all - and sleep well

Hello Wol - yes, things ok in Nargleland at present. Just back from 7 days in Budapest (30 degrees every day, bit of a shock touching down at Heathrow which was only 18 degrees...) which I think we all needed as a break. Nice to be home again though. European laundry mountain done, just waiting for the I word... must start that tomorrow. Cat has been fussing round us like a fussing round thing since we bailed him out of prison yesterday. Chicken (only one now, other one went to a new home with some other chickens on the allotments as she was getting spooked by cats coming into our garden) managing to lay a few eggs a week, must look out a companion for her when I stop being so busy!

You sound more upbeat and chilled about things now your house is back to rights, shows how we are affected by our environment, doesn't it? Hope your family visit goes ok and mama behaves herself - you could try and dose her up with alcohol to mellow her a bit, but it's a question of the right amount for the job.....think of the four stages of drunkeness. Verbose, joculose, bellicose and comatose. Ideally you would like your mum to be in the second or the fourth stage, but the law of Sod would mean she would get firmly stuck in stage one or three. Perhaps you had better start some Buddhist chanting or some yogic meditation to prepare you for the challenge to come......someone once said to me that visitors are like cheese. After 3 days they start to smell...
