Have eaten "roast" lamb steak/med veggies/tattie wedges - plus also roasted butternut squash for "onward processing".

Very tired now - guinea meds and bed methinks

    Nite all

Hope all OK up in your neck of the woods? and weather isnot too bad as you seem to have got it in the neck the last few weeks :(

I am counting my blessings that so far, it has missed our little microclimate down here each time - sometimes only by 10 miles. But do I feel guilty? (Well it really IS someone else's turn in the UK methinks )

Great news on the funding and loads of lovely work...that must be a relief.
Hope the CC PEOPLE PAY OUT soon and that the complaint to the ombudsman results in a fair outcome xxxx

I have to admit to being a tad relieved Taxi that the income will start to come back in - as my finances are in a bit of a serious state atm having had to transfer over another wad from the business account today to cover the bills for the next couple of months.

I am clearly still in denial about my financial situation and haven't had my LBM yet. With the best will in the world, I won;t earn enough this coming 12 months to cover my outgoings (and that assumes i have no more horrendous vets bills like last year which aounted to an extra £250+ per month ).

So as of today I am starting to take stock and work out the best ways forwards.

First things first - the 0% Barclaycard runs out in October. I have amassed a further total of £603.85 in terms of cash backs, credits etc that is being sent today towards paying this off and bringing the balance as of 13th Sept to £2748.43 at which point I will amend my siggie. Although it is tempting to look for another 0% BT - the 3% fee does not make it cost-effective so i may as well bite the bullet and pay this off from my mortgae offset and then i don;t have to worry about it.

Hopefully by then I will have cash from the sale of my golf clubs and also possibly my stamp albums (booked appointment with Stanley Gibbons in London for mid Sept) to go towards it.

Unofrtunately the CC payment for the oak floorboards (different CC to the Barlaycard) has already been "temporarily credited" to the account (whatever that means) so doesn;t factor into any equations going forwards as it just means they took less from me to pay off the monthly bill last month :o.

I have been doing lots of thinking today about how to make ends meet these next 12 months - (but precious little else such as cleaning :o....piggies are now very stinky_pale_).

Will work out some more sums and come back later with some cunning plans.

Hope you are OK Hun - will pootle over to your diary later to check :kisses3:

Whoa, Wol, you never stand still, do you? Page 4 of your diary already! Hope you are recuperating from your op and will be fit in time for the family visiting. I too am expecting visitors later this week for 4 days over the weekend, so that's 4 lots of breakfasts, lunches, afternoon cakes and dinners to plan and shop for. Thank goodness it's payday on Thursday!

Nowt on my diary ...can be summed in one sentence...went to bank and shops in wig and was scared of it blowing off in the wind and rain...that's my whole day.

Glad to see you working on the figures.

good luck on the sales ...hope you get good prices

hope the brain storming throws up plenty of cunning money making plans
