    And here's me thinking you were re-enacting a scene from ' When Harry met Sally' ;):D

    Maybe a working downstairs loo does that for you ? :p

    Oooooh it certainly does El ;):rotfl:

    When the bathroom ceiling fell down in November it put the loo out of action because there was a danger more ceiling would fall down while you were sitting on it :eek:
    Then at the same time the downstairs loo stopped working (owing to the vagaries of variflush valve being incompatible with a disinfectant loo block - insert confused smiley - but I didn;t find out til I got the instructions with the new part earlier this week - After all there was no "unearthly" reason why those careful and diligent builders Dodget and Bodget should have left me the instructions when they installed the damn toilet after the flood was there? :whistle::whistle::whistle:)

    .....and to add insult to injury - in late December, the pipes froze overnight in the en suite and for one day, despite the plethora of sanitary ware..... I didn;t have a single working toilet in the house :mad:..and I had builders in :eek:...

    Thankfully that problem is now rectified....and I now have all of them back in commission :j:j

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Too true...I still have to "tune" the flush volumes...but didn;t want to chance my luck and inadvertantly "kink the cable"..... so have left that job for another day.

    The main thing is it works...:j.....and this is great for my peace of mind. I am having a "flood soiree" next friday for my nearest neighbours. This means my elderly neighbour will be able to "partake of the facilities" without resorting to climbing the stairs (and falling down them :eek:...)..and therefore I will be protected from another heart attack (as happened last thursday :o)

    PS ...I know he wants a snog but quite frankly this is surely an unacceptable (and rather risky) way of trying to obtain the kiss of life :rotfl:?
