    Doesn't matter. Direction is all.

    Talk to your insurers. As them what the delay is. They will then ask the builders what the delay is. The builders will then turn up and claim: "What delay?"

    Have threatened this morning...seems to have resulted in action...visit by foreman booked for monday to "identify appropriate trades necessary" to resolve my two problems of
    a) the (rather puke-inducing) pink "coving plaster adhesive" despoiling my pre-existing lovely "white grouted" bathroom tiles and
    b) the sudden appearance over Christmas of the "giant hamster love nest" in the loft (errm, don;t ask Z........:rotfl:)

    And get your 2010-2011 tax return in just after the end of the financial year so you're not putting yourself under such pressure.

    Acountnat needs at least two weeks..otherwise he charges me double for a rush job ;)....

    No. Take care of yourself. Sooner.

    Am trying (yes very :rotfl::rotfl:)

    Surely the ground will be too loose to have much surface water flowing? We have snow right now.

    :eek::eek: Snow...what snow....we have incessant rain AND FLOODS....oh I gettit...we are south of the cold/warm front intersection...you [STRIKE]lot[/STRIKE] tough northerners are getting it all as [STRIKE]Cat A drugs[/STRIKE] snow...well I suppose that's a valid reason to explain your complete misconception :rotfl::rotfl:

    :grouphug:

    Post when you have news, not when the good news balances the bad using a 31 day binomial smoothing regression. It will even out over time.

    No, none of that stuff. It is not helpful.

    Hi Hun

    As ever ...got me laughing with the innuendo :eek::rotfl:

    Hope you had a good New Year.....will give you a bell over the weekend

    I was only asking a very serious question. After all, the only pleasure I can think of with such things is an indulgence with Mr Whippy...

    I'm going to teach you how to use quotes and markup, even if it does need a lot of visits from Mr Whippy... :cool:

    My curiousity is piqued by the appearence of the giant hamsters. Get them breeding and you may have a new side-line.

    Well if the cold air is headed your way, you'll have fun on the roads. The road outside of my place of work is now no longer gritted due to cutbacks. With whinging traction control, and farting brakes, the whole car was like a mobile disco on that road...

    And nearly fell over outside my house...

    This is the preious 2009/2010 tax return..orignally due 31st october for self assessment and last ever possible sell by date for submission by an accountant (otherwise transported to Australia as a bankrupt owing to accountants rip off lat minute fees and HMRC's rip off last minute interest...need i say anymore? ) is 31st Jan.

    Yes, that would probably be wise - or at least check the gritting plans.

    Our resident southerner took one look out of the window at work round about lunch time, saw that it may possibly start to lie, and said "Gotta go and see the wife!" and left.

    We spent the afternoon making sure his sonic boom hadn't dislodged anything...

    Oh for heavens sake....

    I have spent ages tonight chatting up the Environment Agency person currently repsonsible for issuing flood warnings. It's been a bit "tight" for us this last 24 hours and they pronounced a further incessant rainfall expected from 9pm (which by my calcullation should have sent the stream "our of bank" by about 11pm tonight :D)

    So here we are at nearly 1.30.....and NOT A SINGLE DROP from 9pm onwards :mad:

    Hey ho, at least I' not flooded....but bang goes MY crediility (and £20 owing to my rather rash bet with the EA person earlier this evening :o:o)..And let's just remember.....he can blame his defunct data on the Met office

    sigh......Tomorrow is another day :beer:

    Never trust anything emitting or not emitting from the Met Office.

    Just for this week: On Sunday, it was going to snow on Tuesday,on Tuesday it was going to snow on Thursday, on Thursday, it wasn't going to snow at all. Suddenly Thursday night, it was going to snow on friday.

    It has the predictive abilitity of looking out of the window...
