Hi wol
I am sorry i have been a bit MIA myself. Sooo sorry to hear about Beechie that is really sad, i had a few tears myself
So it is not a problem doing baby steps after that.
What happened about the job that they asked you back to meet the staff?
2011 is going to be our year I am sure of it.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Just popping in to wish you all the best for 2011:beer:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

Wol, of course you don't need to wait for good news to balance bad news before you post... look at the activity on here the minute you post! People want to hear from you, truly. Including me.
I really don't know how you cope with the whole backlog of flooding and the ongoing building issues. I'm kind of lost on it, to be honest, and I would be even if it was me going through it, at that level of complexity. My heart goes out to you, it does, when you find yourself having to deal with all of this all the time, and it *is* all the time, it just doesn't seem to stop.
Hopefully, you can have a little relax today at my place, and a nice chat, just take a fraction of the strain away just for a couple of hours.

Hi chev :beer::beer:
So glad you;re in NZ and not Queensland....hope you had a relaxing Xmas and New Year.
Re the job: I chased the recruitment consultant a week after the interview and was told the company "do not wish to pursue my application with regards to a permanent position".......I am none the wiser (and the recruitment consultant "says" he hasn;t been able to talk to them properly to get feedback as to why). I am slightly concerned that my nasty ex from 9 years ago may have been contacted (off the record chats about candidiates occur all the time in this industry)...hence am not pursuing it. They have my details - if they want to use me instead for some consultancy work (which could also be the reason) I;m sure they will contact me when they are ready.
Just rememebered I still haven;t posted part 2 of the epic answer on your thread yet have I? Norty Wol.......will do that once the tax return is submitted....

And here's me thinking you were re-enacting a scene from ' When Harry met Sally'
Maybe a working downstairs loo does that for you ?Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0
