They have cancelled work again tomorrow, It is snowing again up there and the roads are like one big ice rink, It has now just frozen solid where I am. I ventured down to town to get some supplies and it was not a nice experience at all. Looks like the med centre is going to be closed for the rest of the week. No I dont get paid, because I am a locum nurse I only get paid when I do the shifts. Its the nature of the beast, I have had blips before, just means that I have to do extra shifts to catch up. Morning Taxi, Yes it was a shock, He has gone to rainbow Bridge now though. And to somewhat warmer climes I would imagine.
It is horrible here. Very cold and icy. We have had more snow. I spoke to one of the girls I work with, and she attempted to walk into work. She did not make it as the snow had been drifting badly overnight. Too hard to even walk there. I am still huddled in at home. I am not even going to attempt to set off.
