  • 2 paid work is better than none, it will at least pay for my bills. Now waiting to hear from the TAs to see if they have any shifts coming up at the weekends. I am so pleased I did the extra shifts last weekend. Albeit a little scary getting to and fro from them. I do know there is a possibility of shifts in Belfast coming up. So fingers crossed for those. For every one day I miss I have to put in 2 extra shifts to make up.

So far because of my shingles last month and the snow this month I have lost 15 days. Between now and May next yr I need to get in 30 shifts. Which can be done. Equates to 6 extra shifts a month. Yep, can do that. Easily. She says. I hope. LOL x x x x

Would it not take you ages to get to Belfast?

    Morning :)

That's great news Hun..:T...hopefully by tomorrow the roads will be clearer and gritted...and there'll be no new snow. (I hear the A1 at Catterick is a bit of a mess this morning :()

No such luck here......6" of snow overnight and still falling... and everywhere has ground to a halt....even the bin men haven;t visited today There;s a muti-vehicle accident on the main road just outside the village; Gatwick airport and all local schools are closed and the M25 has had the worst night in years with 400 lorries stuck:eek:

I for one am staying right where I am :D.
