I'm paying £26.50, but have the Variety package. (£14 for tv, £5 calls and £7.50 broadband ).0 -
Cancelled Sky today, the fantastic 75% off offer is up in 30 days.
No offers, just bye bye....
No loss, I see Netflix is £6.99 and the kids can use it on the xbox (2 devices).
It will take time to adapt, but we will manage..0 -
Finally managed to get my Aunty a decent deal. She asked me to try once more before she got a freesat box at the weekend.
Went through live chat. Tried to get her to keep the old box that doesn't even have sky+ to which I said not a chance.
In the end got a 2tb box, free installation next Wednesday and 50% off for 12 months. So £15 a month. I asked for a refurb box and 60% off but no go.
She was happy with that, she's looking forward to being able to record Masterchef whilst she goes the Bingo haha bless her.
Happy I was able to sort a deal she was happy with. She was genuinely astonished that they were prepared to knock so much off.Sigless0 -
I was on my fourth 'deal' with Sky for the Entertainment plus Sport and Movies in HD, which expires at the beginning of May.
I gave my notice to terminate my service on April 2, and went off on holiday. I came back home yesterday and within 10 minutes of walking through the door, Sky rang.
To cut a long story short, I got the full bundle plus HD for £37 for 10 months with no new contract, with a £50 credit to my account on top.
So my next year's viewing has gone up £2 a month over what I have been paying for the last 12 months, which in itself was £3 cheaper than I had paid the year before that.
I am happy with that deal."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

For me, it's included."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
How successful have people been negotiating a discount over the chat app? My sky will turn off Tuesday after my notice period ends and was wondering if it's worth trying to sort something out with them over chat instead of calling them up.0

If you read the thread you'll see you are better off not blinking first in this game.
Allowing the cancellation to go through and waiting for them brings best rewards.0
